I see the cheering on the team bus is happening again

Worked so well last time

:avbnaa:
Will definitely help

Might only lose 2 nil this time
Frankly I'm done with being told how to support our club...

We get pelters from all sides when people leave games early, or boo... and then ridiculed for daring to support the team DESPITE being where we are!

I have never left a game early, (well once in 1990, when a mate I was with wanted to go... And I buckled, and we left, and Spurs equalised last minute and I missed it and was livid, but happy we'd scored, but livid again I'd missed it, but I've NEVER done it again!)

But point is, people leave early for all sorts of reasons, they give up, OR they regret it for years... We don't know.
.same as SHOWING your support, yes, I've got a manky old 1982 Spurs shirt that is falling apart at the seams, and a "lucky hat" that stopped being lucky in about 2006, but I persist... I don't let one bad experience change my outlook of how I choose to support my club.

If I wanna greet a bus, having spent all night ripping up newspapers to throw up in the air for 2 seconds of 'nostalgia' that's on me ... I KNOW it won't necessarily make a difference, it won't improve the performance, or change the importance of the game, but it's whatever little bit you can do, if it helps you get up for the day, then great...

But honestly, if anyone wants to leave early, or boo, or storm the pitch, or slump in their chair exhausted but relieved, regardless of what happens, that's totally up to them.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is had we won EVERY time we've greeted the bus, would we ever get able to stop doing it?
Yes, if course it wouldn't happen EVERY game....

But some games are different... THIS game is different.
We probably put too much importance on the Forest match, it backfired...
But I don't think anyone can UNDERESTIMATE the importance of tomorrow now.

It literally IS it. One way or the other.

Support, cheer, scream, boo (if you must) leave early, sing till you're hoarse, whatever...
Just don't wear anything RED!!!!🙄

Just looking forward to game. Then we will know either way.
I think that's the nub of it...
We just need to know now

Whatever happens, we HAVE to deal with it, but it's the not knowing that's killing me...

Like being told you've got "A TERMINAL" disease, but not which one, or whether you'll pull through..

Remarkably, The odds are in our favour, yet it still feels bleak!
... Either way, it doesn't REALLY matter, you just wanna know whether it will be painful or will we be put out of our misery, that's all!

I'm with you. I had a season ticket for 20 years, been abroad 14 times to see them, went 12 years without missing a home game, and watched Spurs play in almost every premiership stadium. I still do half a dozen games a season, which means me driving 240 miles, having an overnight stay, and spending about £200 a game. I am realistic, which means I am also pessimistic, and it gets right on my tits when I get criticized by posters for being negative, when the people who do this wouldn't be able to put a cross on a map and show me where Tottenham actually is. I could go on here and predict we win every game 6-0 or lose every game 6-0, however my predictions will make absolutely no difference to the outcome, so why do people get annoyed when I predict what I think will happen?

Blimey, a bit of positivity wouldn't kill ya!!🙄😁

Bit harsh on the defence that.

Thought we've been much more solid under RDZ.

Thinking about the goals we've conceded under him and none have been through teams slicing through us?

Sunderland: Deflected
Brighton: Worldie and Danso error
Wolves: Clean Sheet
Villa: Late consolation
Leeds: Pen given away by attacker
Chavs: Worldie and Kolo fuck up

What we can't account for tomorrow - and the main reason I'm nervous - are opposition players hitting their 1 in a 100 shots and brain farts by our players.
The Enzo goal really isn't a worldie.

Have you just woken from a coma
Ha!
Well, our motto is To dare is to dream.
Wait…

I know RDZ won’t want us to sit back. But our players mindset may be fragile in that regard.

Ironically, the RKM brain dead pass that led to their goal was a “safe” back pass. Just happened to be perfectly placed to the opposition.

If we make mistakes, let’s at least have them aggressive mistakes.

And for the love of gawd, close down the ball on the outside of the box. So many times this year we are allowing free pot shots - eventually some go in.

Has a first goal ever felt so massive as getting one here?

I genuinely think having both Solsnke and Maddison helps us significantly.

How De Zerbi chooses to use them is key but important tbat we don't cede the advantage of our 2 points at any point, a lot easier said than done of course.

Let's hope that being at home in front of what will be a very raucous support, is just the stimulus the team need.

Normally when I think about an upcoming match I think of how many hours to Kick off. However this time I work out the hours until the final whistle and it is all over & our fate decided. I will not be able to relax or enjoy the match and unless losing will just want it to finish. If losing will want as long as possible to turn it around. So different to the Europa final last year. Just no idea how it will end but the sooner it does the better.

A lot has been made of our lack of home wins, and it's true, but...

2-2 Man United - seconds from the win
2-2 Brighton - seconds from the win
1-1 Sunderland- better team and 1st of 2 games Brobbery got away with GBH
2-2 Man City. Had that game gone on longer we'd probably have won.
1-1 vs Leeds. Should have won with a penalty we were denied.

4, maybe 5 out of 6 draws there almost certainly should have been wins.

The only bad draw we've had at home was Wolves where we snatched a point at the very death.
That makes it worse if leading in added mins as it could happen again.
