Everyone deserved a rocket for that first half, team looked a shambles conceding that first goal but it wasn't a lucky win and I can't comprehend you saying that luck decided this game, poor forward craft and a crap goal line decision is not luck

It was those missed chances that gave me hope, almost belief we would win.

I thought it was comfortable to be honest. Luton were never going to hold out. We have a team that doesn’t stop which is great to see.. I’m never nervous when we go a goal down in the first half. We don’t have a ruthless streak yet but that comes with better quality front players. Werner and Kulusevski can be decent squad players but not starters if we have any aspirations to challenge for the title in the next couple of years.

Luton deserved nothing from the game and their time wasting was embarrassing.

We had lots of chances. Werner should score first half,Sonny hits the posts,Sarr should score the rebound. Porro should score second half. He also had a chance to shoot but he played it across goal. We created enough chances but our decision making in the final third is poor.
 
Just got back from the game. Relief in the end. Made it hard on ourselves but deserved overall.

Still not sure how some of those chances stayed out - will have to check later.
 
Oh well, it was a win. Credit to Johnson, came on and really made a difference. Son was unlucky with his first half effort as well.

More concerning was the flat first half, stupid of me to think we would be quick off the mark, eager to banish the embarrassment of a display at Fulham.

Ange has some major issues to solve, it’s not today but nearly every match where we only turn it on for 20 or 25 minutes in one half.

Play like the first half at the athletics track on Tuesday and we will be in for a long evening.
