Match Tottenham Hotspur v Luton. 3pm 30/3/24

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Some of the predicted scores that were posted, showed gooner level arrogance, in my opinion. Very happy with the win, and the atmosphere was great today.

Every single semi big team predict big wins at home to Luton because they’re absolute championship piss. They have an injury crisis a mile long (way worse than we had) despite their starting 11 when everyone is fit .. still being champo piss.

Nothing wrong with our fans expecting to put away championship level sides at our huge expensive ground they pay top top dollar to go to.

Are people still whining about the goal line decision?

It wasn't over the line. Let it go.

I'm all for slagging of dodgy/corrupt decisions but that technology is pretty good.

Too much of a shake-up to bench Deki, Madders and Biss against Spam?

Of the 3, I'd be most inclined to keep Deki despite him looking pretty horrible today. His hold-up play may give us more stability against their physicality. Then again, BJ deserves to start at the moment.
He doesnt hold up play. He gets the ball cuts in gives it away. Repeat x 20 . Hes been poor for a few months now. Maybe been dropped will give him a boot in the hole

But he is constantly losing the ball so his hold up play is poor just now. His passing is slack as fuck. I’m a big deki fan but lately he’s been abysmal. I like Brennan coming on as he has an impact because when he starts he doesn’t do as well.

Agree with all that from 1,000 km away.

As for what I have quoted, YIDS, YIDS, YIDS, YIDS and you of course YIDS!

I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and at the end, wished I'd been in the ground. I used to love those sort of games - a weaker opponent who turned up and gave us a scare, but then we overcame them...

I'd have absolutely loved to have been having a beer with you lot and my mates after, metaphorically wiping our brow, celebrating the win and having a right old laugh.

In short....

YIDS!

:mickyarm:

Well put.

This is the essence of supporting a football club for me. Late goals and late wins are manna from heaven when you are in the ground.

You can't seriously be arguing that the rule should be 'if half the ball crosses the line'?!
That was my sarcastic post-game self, my man.

But still...not being given a goal when 99.5% of the ball is over the line, like yesterday...gotta admit that's proper harsh.

The centre mass of the ball was all in, it was a fraction of its circumference that wasn't.

But yeah, they're already drawing stupid lines for toenails offsides, so we don't want them to start getting their rulers out for micro millimeters of ball leather.

I'll get over it eventually 🤣

Fair enough. I'm sure some would fight the case in all seriousness for you though! Lol
