One of those weird situations in life where no one is wrong.
The team and coaches cannot adopt an attitude of wanting to lose so Ange's comments are expected.

But so is 99% of fans and their desire to not give Woolwich the title tomorrow night.

Would Arse fans want their team to pass up possible champions league football to stop us winning the league?

It's small club mentality that. Half of you sound like my non-league supporting mate who hates everyone in the world apart from his team. They all need their legs breaking etc, blah blah.

FFS, you're like the turd that won't flush.

You're very much in the minority with your views re this game on this forum, so don't get that twisted. You clearly hate the club and all it stands for so just...do one.

Crikey moses.

So from the regular 1st team squad (not including Sess, Forster or Solomon) ...that's Richie, Werner, Davies, Udogie and now Bissouma out now...

It's the first time all season I've actually been relieved to see such an extensive injury list!!

#playtheunder12's!

I'm really fascinated by what the atmosphere is going to be like in the stadium tomorrow. Will there still be pro-Spurs chants? Are the majority of the crowd genuinely going to be supporting City, or does real life not reflect this forum/social media? I presume there will still be a high number of tourists there - what on earth are they going to make of the home fans potentially rooting for the opposite team?

It's a proper unique situation in English football and I can't think of another time it has happened (I vaguely remember Portsmouth fans cheering for whoever they were playing to send Southampton down in the early '00s, but think that was the away section).

Will be a game that goes down in the history books whatever happens.

Interestingly City can still win the title with a draw tomorrow, then beating West Ham by 4 goals more than the cunts beat Everton ... 🤔
If Liverpool beat Villa tonight, then a draw tomorrow would see us three points behind with (probably) too large a goal difference swing to have any hope on the final day of getting 4th.

To be honest, a draw is probably the worst outcome that could happen.

I've spoken to at least three who would!!
But then they also arrogantly gloated it was totally hypothetical to ever be that way round and never gonna happen... So fuck them!

Is it 4, or 3?

They're 3 behind on GD now but have scored more goals than Arse - if GD is level, is it goals scored next?
Jeez, if it comes down to THAT kinda maths, I don't think I could handle it!!

Liverpool beat Villa 4-0 and their GD is only +4 over us
Lose to Palace and we only need to beat 101 goal conceding Sheff Utd by 3 to leapfrog them.

Easy enough

Oh

Minority……ridiculous comment, have you conducted a worldwide poll?

No? I'm clearly referring to this forum you tit. I'll edit my post so its clearer for those of lower intellect. My apologies for not making it clear for people like you.

It's pretty obvious across social media which way actual spurs fans want the game to go though.

Did you not see the poll? If not, go look at it, then shut up.

Spurs crowd supporting City tomorrow would be a bloody insult to Spurs. This is the City funded by the Saudis, the club facing over 100 charges of dodgy dealings, guilty of dreadful breaches of human rights.Jesus wept smell the coffee, you would want fans to support them. Even if they win the title, the chances are that when their eventual punishments are handed out they could be stripped of the title and it handed to Woolwich anyway.

Sorry, I’ll rephrase the question. Have you conducted a poll of all the members on this forum? You must make your posts clearer.

Fans obsession with the academy is baffling.
Hardly anyone's academy is churning out anything other than lower league players.
Liverpool have used the Europa this season to bed in Quansah and Conor Bradley; both already look Premier League quality.

They've also given minutes to Jayden Danns, McConnell, Doak, and Bobby Clark.

In recent years they've fully integrated Curtis Jones, Trent, Bajetic, and Joe Gomez into the first team. They could sell Trent to Real this summer for 100m and that alone would pay for 10 years of the academy.

In total these players have probably saved Liverpool 200m in transfer fees. All due to a manager willing to use the academy versus one who lets it rot.

Plus there's the intangible benefit of having players come through with a connection to the club. As opposed to a bunch of mercenaries who see it as a paycheque.

Not diplomatic at all.

No shock that he said we always play to win etc

But really surprised he doesn’t get the tribal nature of football. Especially after managing Celtic.

Smacks of growing up in Australia where the tribalism wouldn’t exist in such a way.

He is in for a shock tomorrow, as I’m certain large portions of our fans will cheer City goals and sing songs relating to wanting to lose.
