As usual, a slightly biased account from MOTD. Just got home from the game, and whilst Manure did have a few good chances, we really put the pressure on them in the latter stages of the 2nd half, and really should've put them to bed, so bollocks to that lot.

Agreed just needs a run of games.
Yeah that is good but also a bad thing as he was required to pull off better saves than onana and was generally the busier. Yet Utd are a poor team with lots of injuries.
We really need to look at what his qualities are and if they are what we need. We already 3 young forwards in Moore, Wilson and Yang. We need to get proper quality to go straight in. Tel on that showing ain’t gonna get much change from PL defences. We need to bin Johnson and Richi and spend big on a player like cunha.

I travelled down with a mate and his son, who after today is on a 12 game winning streak of attendances, so I am saving up for his first season ticket once he is old enough. We decided to ditch the car, took the train & got on the Morgan's spiced. We're old enough to know better, but it's one of the most enjoyable football outings I've had since Amsterdam, I reckon.

Danso is a decent defender, strong and has some toe. We defended pretty well despite some usual shape issues causing us issues (Porro 
)
But we are so lacking in both confidence and quality up front and playing in midfield. Maddison brought some quality but Sons decline gets ever more frustrating (just go down the outside and cross with your left Sonny!) .
Solanke will help and Wilson showed signs in his minutes of something g different but we're still a long long way off being cohesive.
But the effort and will remains. Desperately need Romero and VDV back for build up and Johnson/Odobert to do something - anything - to change up our wing play.
