Match Tottenham Hotspur v Qarabağ FK | Thursday 26th Sept | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium | 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The Spurs players were still earning that last season with no Europe - so your “argument” doesn’t really work.

The fact we pay them as much as we do makes me think we should use them for these games though - but we won’t, we will have £175k a week Maddison getting splinters up his Aristotle at best. So your argument doesn’t work at all I am afraid.

Time to reduce your medication.

You have made no coherent argument at all other than 'I want'.

Leyton Orient first team is available to you at £30 or Spurs mixed first team and youngsters at £30 - most people except you might notice a difference in quality of team, given your comments that its a Spurs 'B Team'.

If you want to pay £10, then Admission Prices – Haringey Borough FC is the level of football to which you aspire.

Your choice. Enjoy, non league football has its positive points

Maybe the mix of first team players and squad players (rotation to prevent burnout) plus the attractiveness of the opponent means the tickets are priced at £30 rather than double that when Spurs play better known teams in PL at weekend.

So a straight choice, glad you are happy to stick to paying what you know

Maybe, but wouldn’t it be nice if we had a sell out on Thursday rather than half full? I am sure the players would prefer that.

Most EL matches do not sell out - I doubt if we have ever sold more than 35,000 in any match as its not that attractive a deal bearing in mind timing, quality of team we are playing and everything else. And they do give away freebies to local kids etc to boost numbers

CL matches are more of a sell out due (often say 55,000 but as more 'fully priced tickets' not £30) - imo, due to quality and name recognition of opposition.
