Match Tottenham Hotspur v Qarabağ FK | Thursday 26th Sept | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium | 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Ridiculous that we can't play Spence in this.

Vicario
Porro--------Dragusin---------VDV---------Udogie

Grey----------Bentancur---------Bergval

Moore----------Rich----------Werner
Rich is out for the foreseeable.

Also surely we don't need three of our starting back four at home against Qarabag. If we can't rest them now then when?

Davies is in the squad, our starters need a rest. Him in for VDV or Udogie, I'd move Gray back to fill in the gap and bring Sarr into midfield as he barely played on the weekend.

So, are Qarabag any good and is the game on the television?
They're the team every Champions League team uses to ridicule Ropey League/Conference teams.

"We're playing Real Madrid, you're playing FC Carrier Bag"

Their record however isn't as Andora or San Marino like as you'd think.
P182 games in Uefa competitions, W69 L67. This is every game inc qualifiers I presume as there's 57 for CL and they haven't been in the group stage AFAIK.
Against English teams, they have had the London teams, Us, Chelsea, Arse. Lost all 6. GD -17

Yep, it is beyond obvious. Can't go weak at all. Why would you anyway? Win the games, qualify, then rest players once you're guaranteed a top 8 finish. 16 points does apparently, but I wouldnt be surprised if it is a couple lower.
I don't see why we need to absolutely guarantee a top 8 finish. To do so we will have to basically play our starters three times a week from now until February. Does anyone seriously think that doesn't result in a pile of first team injuries and a shattered first team squad, given the way we play?

Ultimately if the choice is between "top 8 and loads of injuries to key players and the first XI shattered by February" or "into the playoffs against Dynamo Nobody with a fit and healthy squad for the 2nd half of the season" give me option two all day long.

All Europa games are on TNT Sports.

Nobody here can tell you with a straight face they know anything about Qarabag 😂.

Unless any of this lot are in??

They all meet at the Halfway Inn!

I haven’t got TNT, my local does but I won’t get the opportunity to go.
