Match Tottenham Hotspur VS Eintracht Frankfurt. Thursday 10th April 2025. 8pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We need the fans to be all behind the team for this one and no selling their tickets to tourists. Kula needs to be on the bench if he can play 20 mins as if we do not win this there is nothing to save him for.
Most of the team picks it self. Either Porro or Udogie. We need goals in the first leg and so play Porro but maybe Udogie in the away match.
Which wide players to play? Tel and Odobert have not claimed a spot and Johnson is a more prolific goal scorer on the right. A lot of goals come from crosses from the left and Johnson tapping in. Son cannot get to the byline to cross them any more and so I would play Odobert with instructions to take his man on.
Vic,
Porro, Romero, VDV, Spence
Bentancur, Bergvale, Maddison
Johnson, Solanke, Odebert
We need a 2 goal cushion but things are never that clear cut for Spurs and expect only a 1 goal advantage @nd a very difficult 2nd leg.

Vicario
Porro - Romero - Van de Ven - Spence
Sarr - Bergvall
Johnson - Maddison - Son
Solanke

Would be a bonus if Deki could be available, even if it's only 20 minutes off the bench.

1-1 draw...or we somehow manage to win 2-1.

But to be honest, even if we miraculously won by 2 goals, I'd still be terrified for the second leg in Germany. They're defo good enough to dick us by 3 or 4 at their gaff.

Vic
Djed - Romero - VdV - Ben
Berg - Rod - Mads
Johnson - Dom - Odo

Subs: Porro for Ben, Archie for Rod, Sarr for Berg, Sonny for Odo, Dane for Dom...fuck Udogie, Biss, Tel, Richy.

State of our squad...NINTH RICHEST CLUB IN THE WORLD.

The ticket exchange will not be open, so there is no legal way to sell to tourists.

When I looked a few days ago the upper tier was about 75% empty, so atmosphere could be a bit flat. Rather sad that fans can’t get excited about a Euro QF though. Of course there will be a mad scramble for final tickets if we get there.

There are so many seats left unsold I expect that Germans are going to be all over the ground in random groups. They can just meet up and sit together.

Season ticket holders have clearly given this game a swerve.

When seats went on sale to members you could choose wherever you wanted. I didn’t even get on the site till 20mins after the on sale time.
I was around 6k in the queue. So thought “good” seats for me would he at a premium. But not at all.

Be a bit of a random crowd I think.

Now THAT'S where they should stick all the tourists and day trippers....
Have them in, by all means, fill it up for the sake of having a full stadium, but not at the cost of diluting the atmosphere down below, 'cos half the South stand wanna take selfies and ask for Sonny's shirt!!!!😞

We've got a Family Section, a so called 'Singing section' (which is fast just becoming the away end!),
So why NOT a dedicated Tourist section....?? I'm semi serious...

BRING BACK PROPER SEGREGATION! (OK, that sounds worse than it was intended to!!)🤔

Buzzing for this now. Fancy us to take narrow lead to Germany. No matter how bad it’s been or downhearted we are about this season we must get right behind the team and make it a great atmosphere. It’s a quarter final of a European competition after all.
Bricklayers pre match anyone?

Frankfurter Frankfurter
What's the feeling in Germany?
Hello Spider,

tough question!

Among Eintracht fans, you hear everything from "we can do it" to the "last game in the Europa League".

I found Robin Koch's statement interesting when he was asked about the game against Tottenham.
(You'd think I'd told him what to say.)
Koch said that going to Tottenham was always something special.
The stadium was fantastic, the atmosphere good, and Tottenham "unpredictable." They, Leeds, had led twice in one game and gone home with a 2-3 defeat.
He also believes that both games must be highly focused because the Premier League is something special, and Tottenham are a strong opponent.

In the section where I'm sitting at the Waldstadion, doubters are in the majority.
Coach Toppmöller isn't expected to do much – and that's despite being third in the Bundesliga.
However, he has a problem making adequate lineup changes when a key player is out.
We saw that on Saturday evening in the game against Bremen, where we lost 2-0 because of the lineup.

My great hope is that our team's "reserve goalkeeper" has another good day. He's very young and has mostly performed excellently.
Nevertheless, I believe we'll lose narrowly in London and it won't be enough to turn the game around at home.

Have a nice day (a bad Thursday) and see you soon.

Led three times and went home with a 3-4 defeat in fact.

If I get there early enough might nip
In the bricklayers.

But probably walking down the high road from Seven Sisters so might just head straight in and see if any TFCers are around anywhere.

I was optimistic until I delved into some facts. They are 3rd in the Bundesliga and we have struggled against much weaker German opposition very recently. They hammered Ajax in the last round too. So they’re clearly motivated for this match and this tournament. If we win, it’ll be one of Ange’s most impressive and unlikely results. Likely to be decided in Germany though.
