I'm starting to get embarrassed for you.
It’s great being ‘Wall, as I posted previously we have spent sweet FA in the transfer market, a club that bounces between the second and third tier with a hard core support of 10k in the third division. Some of the football can be tedious, long ball and so forth. We knock out three mid table premiership teams and get to have a go against one of the best (on your day) teams in the country.
I could bang on about the quality of our support, no point as every team/club thinks theirs is special. This support is still pretty much made up of either people from the area or people that were born and raised there and have moved away. We get very few tourist supporters, leave them for Chelsea and that lot over the East end, except the odd ones that turn up thinking its going be Green Street or whatever that crap film was called.
In essence we are from that unfashionable part of town that’s been under the radar and that the developers have now realised is worth a bit. We are still yet to be sanitised and turned into the ludicrous money machine that is the premiership, although it would be handy to get there to finish last and trouser a 100 million.
Of course we want to progress, I would love to be in the championship and have a trip to Newcastle instead of Fleetwood, however we are Millwall..........
