Stop all the laughing and joking, all the high fiving and filming each other on your phones that I keep seeing on the official training vids and start getting fucking serious.

Today was not acceptable. Zero points from Wolves is not acceptable.

Stop making excuses for them, they have one game to play a week and cant even manage that.

Well you can’t make a plastic surgeon do your car not? It’s the stupid inverted FBs. They are tucked in so far in the middle they forget to defend. Now just imagine playing with a proper back 4 say like dippers or goons and then attacking using both wide attackers and supplemented by the FBs. Wouldn’t that be revolutionary? By being in the middle what do they offer. All it does is make more short little passes around the half way line slowing the play down and then not once bothering to spread the play out wide.
 
What a disappointment, very little to be positive about, maybe VDV and Vic are exempt from criticism.
Only bright spot was meeting up with Mr and Mrs MemphisWill MemphisWill , Shades Shades , Spurshaker Spurshaker , East Mid Yid East Mid Yid and Wellsey Wellsey before the game.
Hopefully it will be a better performance against Palace.

That's our problem right there. We are not flexible to changing situations. We only seem to play a high line. It seems that's all that Ange cares about. Or at least spends most of his time coaching.
He must do something with our DM and our FBs. It's not just about scoring goals. We have to stop them too....

The high line today was absolutely suicidal. Mainly because our pressing from the front was so lazy apart from Richy.

Inverted FBs is revolutionary if we dare to play incisive passes in the middle on the half turn. But we keep passing to the wide forwards who did fuck all but keep passing back.

Our first 10 games were fantastic examples of what inverted FBs could be - breathtaking. It's really damn weird we are degressing from that play when we actually got it right from the start and forgot how to do it now. Maybe we really lose the Biss we got then and he never recovers his abilities for some strange fuck reason. Biss is being space-jammed.
 
Today although never a good thing when we get beat at least it keeps things in perspective, we’re a team in transition and there’s a lot of work still to do a new team with a new coach who hasn’t even had 30 games under his belt yet. There is plenty of positives regarding the club irrespective of today’s result or not being at our early seasons best so looking forward to the remainder of the season and see what unfolds
