No one cares. The idea it's competing with mens football on any level is sad.
I saw one news outlet actually suggest a woman was close to breaking Rooney's scoring record for England before Kane. For fuck sake. This kind of journalism is shockingly embarassing.

We opened a 63,000 seat stadium for the women's North London Derby and set a WSL record attendance - with the right promotion.

38,262 turned up - which is more than any of our men's Conference League fixtures.
31,213 turned up for City vs United at the Etihad
24,564 turned up for Chelsea vs Spurs at Stamford Bridge.

As for all time women's attendance records set;

That's correct. All of England's games and the final at Wembley have sold out.
87,200 at Wembley. 73,200 at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately Spurs ladies have dropped off the pace for Champions League recently but had we made it I would still maintain that I would like to have seen our fixtures in the competition hosted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

You might not like women, women playing football or watching women playing football - but fortunately you don't speak for everyone.

If the club are wanting to build up more support for the womens team then they absolutely need to play more matches at the stadium. I’d go watch them regularly if they did because the stadium is much easier to get to. The Hive where the women currently play their home matches is much harder for me to get to and take 20 minutes longer.
They could easily make a big event of a few matches a season like they did with the NLD last summer and I’m sure that would generate a lot of interest. Just a few big matches at the stadium would be great for the womens team if they’re given the revenue generated from the day.

Girls & womens football at the lower levels has come on leaps & bounds in last 20 yrs,
I was involved for around 18yrs up to 2016, and it was very clicky at acadmey & pro levels (as I saw it)
think it still shows now with the Ladies that are in the pro teams, many have poor first touch/control

We are fewer miles behind them than we were not long ago though. The team have improved massively in the last few years.
Chelsea and Woolwich are still well ahead of everyone, but we are among the best of the rest now.

Just hope the Clickyness of women's acadmey & top flight football has been reduced
I have experiance of Hope Powell when she managed england and saw first hand how its matey matey who gets on,
the boys game is better scouting wise as you can get kids looked at, but its still matey matey once you are in the acadmey
seen so many good kids not get a chance as either their or their parents face not fitting or not bending and kissing coaches feet,

TOTTENHAM WOMEN star Chioma Ubogagu has accepted a nine-month suspension after an anti-doping violation.
The 29-year-old received two prescriptions for acne medication while playing in the United States.

Following her WSL arrival with Spurs last year, Ubogagu continued to take her medication without knowing it was banned.

After asking club doctors for a repeat prescription in November, Spurs alerted UK Anti-Doping.

England international Ubogagu will now be out of action until October.

Upon receiving her ban, the forward told Spurs' official media channels: "I am so sorry to my team-mates and staff that I can’t be out on the pitch.

"The club has been fully supportive throughout this entire process, and I am so appreciative of all their help.

"My faith, family, and close friends have helped me immensely in this difficult time. I am eager to be back soon now that this has been resolved.

“I want to make clear that the medication had no performance-enhancing effects for me, but I still made the mistake of not being as diligent as possible, and as a result I am unable to play the game I love until I serve my suspension.

"While my dermatologist is aware of my profession, it is also my responsibility to know more about the medications I am prescribed.

"I plan to share my story and educate others on the severity of what can happen, and I hope I can help other athletes avoid situations like mine in the future."

The FA have accepted that Ubogagu did NOT take medication in order to gain a competitive advantage.

Ubogagu has been provisionally suspended since January.

She made ten appearances in her debut season at Spurs, after joining from Real Madrid.

Ubogagu is a three-time England international, scoring in a match against Austria in 2018.

The FA and an independent tribunal reached the decision on Friday 22 April.

Chioma was prescribed two forms of medication in the United States from a personal doctor to treat acne before signing for the Club.

The 29-year-old continued to take the medication to treat her skin condition after she arrived without the knowledge that the medication was prohibited.

In November 2021, Chioma requested a repeat prescription from the Club doctor who alerted the relevant bodies; the FA and UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) about the use of a banned substance.

The FA accepts that Chioma did not take the medication, spironolactone, with a view to intentionally securing an illegal advantage.

Both the Club and Chioma fully cooperated with the FA and UKAD during the disciplinary process and Chioma has been unavailable for selection since the provisional suspension was imposed in January.

Chioma takes full responsibility for the charge and deeply regrets her actions admitting a lack of knowledge and awareness on her part.

Chioma said: “I am so sorry to my teammates and staff that I can’t be out on the pitch. The Club has been fully supportive throughout this entire process, and I am so appreciative of all their help. My faith, family, and close friends have helped me immensely in this difficult time. I am eager to be back soon now that this has been resolved.
