Match Tottenham v. Manchester City (Sun Aug. 15 16:30 BST)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The first half started slowly but I think that we grew into it and it looked good towards the end. You can see what Nuno's plan is. I can get behind a pressing, rapid counter attacking Spurs. We just need someone clinical up top.

I never said he is finished and i know that he is only 20. But people were bigging him up like he is some kind of savior for midfield which he clearly is not yet. And it's not just about the 10 minutes, i always had this view on him. He is descent, but he is raw and surely not ready to lead a midfield. He might come good, but it will take time.
Fair enough mate. Not seen anyone say that skipp will be our savior, just that he'll be an upgrade on Winks/Sissoko and he has more potential.
As you say it'll take time :tanguythumb:
Think he's done all right so far

Boys have done ok so far..... City will bring a bit more in the 2nd half.... Let's hope we can find a bit more quality too. That defense can be got at.

Good first half all things considered. Crowd is really positive and got behind the team. Good atmosphere all over the South & East stands. Much prefer watching a group that is coached and cares to the bigger name shambles of last season. UTS.

I think the front 3 are scared to shoot at mo: just takes time to work out who takes the responsibility of Kane is out.

I just hope we all remember how well we have played so far. When/If we give up a few goals and lose this game, don't turn on the players so soon. They are showing they know how to play against a top team and it's going to take a few games to get back into playing attacking style after the Jose and Mason impacts.
