Honestly don't care about about Citeh. I hate them as a concept, but football wise I just feel a bit meh about them, they're just Oldham Athletic with a credit card. The Sheikh will get bored once the PR exercise has done its job and they'll be back in the Championship where they belong. Spurs v Man City will never be a big game in my eyes.

I'm just excited to be back in this magnificent stadium.
Compared to the national excitement around the Leicester title (except us), and the media balling their eyes out over the 'poetic beauty' of the Dippers winning the league and CL, I enjoy the fact that basically nobody gives a fuck when City win the league, and Chelsea the CL for that matter. They've bought it, who cares?

It is disappointing to be going into week 1 against the defending champions with (arguably) our most talented player apparently too fat to play after a summer off, and (inarguably) our best player likely unavailable after spitting on the fans that adore him and scheduling a vacation to Florida instead of showing up for training.

Fuck them both. Supporting Nuno and the players who want to be here. I think we've got a feisty draw in us today.

I never expect much when we play City so a defeat won’t depress me today. But I will be depressed if we see the same half ass effort we saw under Jose. I want to see full effort, fearless play and some aggression in all areas on the pitch.

No reason we can’t come out today and make a statement win to let people know this team is more than Kane.

Still believe it'll be the same lineup as I predicted on Sunday

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Reguilon
Skipp Hojbjerg Dele
Lucas Son Bergwijn

Only ones that might be different are Lo Celso for Skipp and maybe Romero for Sanchez if fit but I doubt those 2 start probably both will be on the bench.

Same lineup as v Woolwich and tbh its the best we can do right now with Kane and Ndombele not fit and the new signings not ready.
Its very dissapointing but I expected this for the first few games.

Paratici really needs to work hard to make sure that half of that XI is different by the time we reach the end of the window/September

Also hoping Kane and Ndombele on the pitch. Kane because its a message to City and Ndombele because well he's very talented. Same goes for Kane too. Imagine being able to bring Kane onto the pitch whatever the situation he should help us..

I'd have Skipp, Hojberg, and Lo Celso as my midfielder.
Tanguy is clearly a lazy cunt behind the scenes. Shame. But anyway, such is life.
I'd put Son, Lucas, and Dele ahead of them with fuck tonnes of freedom given to Dele to pop up randomly and disrupt all sense of order. Nominally he can play through the middle but also drop a bit deeper and dick around a bit.

It would be nice if Romero and Gil are ready but if they come off the bench that would also be good. I'd like to see Scarlett get some minutes too.

Literally can’t believe we are going into a new season with probably Dier and Sanchez at the back ffs 🤦‍♂️. I know Romero when fit will be there and there is still a small possibility he might start today, but there’s also a strong possibility Laurel and Hardy will start today too. I have zero confidence in either of these clowns, so I’m pretty much throwing the game if they start. Even more so if we have Aurier with them. It’s just a joke. Hoping and praying Romero starts with Rodon at least or Tanganga
