Of course I was expecting some to react with insults because I have an opinion that doesn't sit right with theirs. 20,50,80%? of the Spurs faithful love Ange and Ange-Ball. I like Ange! I imagine he is a really good bloke, honest, great family man, has high moral standards. I admire his past achievements in The J-League and SPL, but he is at my club now and without listing (done so many times before) why I won't buy into is philosophy I want him out of my club. Many of you will say, " I don't give a fuck what Redknapp, Carrighar, Chamberlin say" but watching the 3 of them last night and I suspect many others, laughing at my manager like he is some half witted fool with his comments and me understanding why is why I want him gone!
What all the dense fans, who would give a coma patient 3 years minimum to turn things around don't understand, is that all these interviews are giving rivals the tools to counter us.
They are literally showing everyone what we do wrong and how to punish it almost weekly.
I get it, but his tongue in check comments? did not deter from the fact we played well for 55 minutes, went 3-0 up and should have then tweaked our approach to the point where we completely bossed the game and Utd.
This was suggested to him by the reporter and his answer was what we heard. Making the likes of Redknapp, Carraghar and Chapman and I suspect many others, myself included actually laugh at our manager!

I think you're probably worried more about what other say and thinking that it makes you look stupid, you're letting that thought process rule your head which is weird because our club have always been mocked in the vast majority of the Prem era, how long have you supported Tottenham for?

When you say tweaked our approach, what do you suggest we do?
Because we could have sat in at 1-0 but we went out and attacked and that got us a 3-0 lead, we didn't tweak our approach then so why was it necessary to tweak the approach which was successful particularly when our goalie decided to give them 2 goals?
His achievements in the J league were nothing to write home about, his win rate wasn’t that great
The big worry with Ange is we have the best goals for record in the league and the 3rd best goals against - 9/10 that would mean you are in a title race.

Ipswich can go 2-0 up at our place and just sit in against us and he has no idea how to open them up. Palace can get the lead and just sit in, Woolwich also. I would be fine if he was trying stuff to change these games and it wasn’t working - eventually he would stumble upon the answer. Instead, he often does nothing or worse than that brings Werner on - even though there is no space to run into. The Ipswich game is the most tactically naive I’ve seen Spurs in years - we made it easy for them.
So yes, when plan A works it’s often great to watch - but we’re not going to achieve anything unless he swallows his pride and realises that have a plan B for certain situations doesn’t mean you are compromising your footballing ethos - you are merely supplementing it.
He is a stubborn fucker though so I suspect he will be sacked late April/early May when we’re 8th and out of all the cups, having not won the league cup. Hope I am wrong

I appreciate the amateur psychology but it has little to nothing to do with that. I love my club to its core, have done so for 56 years. I also love football, all aspects of how the game is played, how 2 sides play and counter play against one another in an attempt to come out on top. What I don't like to see is how the game taken as "lightly" as AP approaches it, with his basketball style. Sorry (not really) to the 20, 50, 80 % of you that do, its just not for me and I believe in the long-term it will not bring success, whatever you view of success is? If that's sitting in a seat getting excited about what side might score next and will we hang on to an established lead, then I'll understand why Ange-Ball is for you and many others. Just not what I want to see!
I was just trying to make the point, I'm not attacking the man himself, just his style of football.
Fair enough if you believe that, I just think it's pretty weak and forced to conclude that after last nights game when we had a bench of academy players and the keeper was more at fault for their goals. I find it a bit weird pointing fingers at the manager and it's as much confirmation bias if anything.
