So Ange has had 5 fullbacks available this season, and yet he's flogged Udogie to the point of injury, and Porro into a black hole of poor form, by playing them both almost every minute they have been available for?

5 Fbs?

You counting Davies?

When was the last time all 4 were fit at the same time?

Anyway, this is pointless. You can vent your emotional shit at someone else. I thought we were talking about this EL tie and managing Brentford after. Now you are just venting circle thought obsession about the manager.

As for Gray's minutes at fb, they also came about due to Ange's utter buffoonery, either in leaving actual fullbacks on the bench in favour of using him there, or just leaving them out of the Europa squad altogether. Regardless, his time starting every game has largely been cb.

The EL squad was a tough one.

Who would you have left out to include Spence? Would you also have tried to include Reguilon?

The fact we included 4GKs actually made a bit of sense after Austin started a game. Fact we have signed another GK since shows the state of the squad overall.

But we were limited to 23 players in that EL squad so tough choices had to be made.

Porro, Udogie, Spence, Reggie, Gray.

My point was that contrary to your assertion that Spence being back would allow Porro to rest, Ange has proven to be dumb enough not to do that, on plenty of occasions. The rest of the rabbit holes are just where you lead the conversation...

Reguillon?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

ahhhhhhhh LOL

As if anyone had Reguillon as part of the squad at the start of the season FFS

The only reason he's anywhere near it is because things have got so bad. You don't remember the disbelief when he travelled to Europe just to have an extra body to train. that was November?

Now you want to claim he should have been part of the rotation all along? Fuck off mate. Honestly, just fuck off.

Reguillon is a victim of years of flip flopping from coach to coach and having no idea what we want to be as a club. Harsh for him but he is only here because he's in the last year of his contract.

Reguillon FFS :harrylol:

So just sell him?
Not have him as the back up keeper at all.

That’s a different conversation altogether.
I mean I wouldn't have cared less if we had sold him...

But for Europa, considering we were naming 4 gks due to two of them being HG(CT), and the level of opposition generally, I'd have been happy to sacrifice him for the sake of the extra fullback rotation.

Gk isn't generally a position that needs to be rotated, if you do it's usually to give a younger guy some cup minutes for experience, whereas the fullback position everybody knew it would need rotation and the first choices would end up knackered.

It would have been an awkward call to tell one of your senior pros that he's being left out, but the right one, Ange bottled it big time.

He's literally part of the squad.

Literally.

Ok pal.

Reguillon LMFAO

Fucking hell
You've lost the plot mate.

In case you hadn't noticed, and you happily state that you don't bother watching the games (which explains a lot), Reguilon played yesterday. He didn't do anything amazing, but certainly didn't do any worse than we've seen from Udogie this season.

Do you really not think that had he been used to rotate earlier in the season then we might currently have 2 fit leftbacks, and maybe even some semblance of form between them?

You can laugh all you like, he is a fullback, and he is in the squad, literally selected by Ange himself.

He's been sat kicking his heels most of the season whilst our first choice was flogged to breaking point, whilst we played a cm and emergency right back out of position, whilst we played the back up right back who can't get any rotation minutes at right back there, and I'm pretty sure we also played "not a left back" Ben Davies there at some point too...

Tell me, how's that worked out?

Only to now be in the position where Ange has to turn to him with his tail between his legs anyway...

Sorry Reg, I've broken everyone else mate, now go out there and play your heart out for me would you?

:ange-arms:

Inspirational.

He's a troll.
Needs to be banned. Every single comment is contrarian on purpose to get a rise.
If we were top of the league and 10 points clear that pillock would be calling for him to be sacked.
It's as simple as that.

If we had played Elfsborg away, we would have played on an artificial pitch, and pulled every single hamstring left to pull.

Yes i'm trying desperately to find positives.

A Swedish team means they will be very organized.

If Tamworth could cause us trouble, so can Elfsborg.
