Match Tottenham vs Elfsborg - January 30th at 08:00pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yeah also saw Ange let it slip that VDV has been training for 10 days already.

Amazing how fast everyone had gone to panic and blame the manager about Sarr. Mainly because of an ITK rumour from fucking Hercules of all people.

Reguillon fucked too?

(I know he's not in the EL squad, but you'd still expect him to be training.)

....No new loan for Dane yet?

Ange said before Leicester that Reggie "should be ok"...but given that the club wants to take any offer it can to get him out the door before his contract expires and Reggie himself probably wants to play, even if it's just for a few months, it starts to make sense why he maybe didn't play with the window open.

Ange said: Micky is good. He is good to go. We'll try and get him some match minutes tomorrow - that's the plan. We'll see how much we can get out of him tomorrow.

"He's good to go. He's a good week to 10 days training with the team and is in good condition. So he is fine."

If Donley, Keeley, Phillips, Abbott and Devine had not been loaned or were recalled, how many of them would start against Elfsborg?

Id say Keeley would start over Austin, Donley would start at LB or RW resting one of Porro, Gray or kulu, Devine would be at CM allowing Bergvall a rest and Phillips would be one of the CBs. Only really Abbott isn't up to starting.

I don't see the point of a squad if you don't utilise useful players

I'd have started Abbott over Porro at RB tomorrow if Abbott had been available - he's tearing things up at Notts County on loan consistently one of their best players, excellent RB (occasional LB) as Captain of spurs u21's last season and very good in preseason playing full back - very solid just not eyecatching. No concern at all about Abbott being able to step up and play against Elfsborg

That way Porro would have got a rest

But if he were recalled from loan would Ange play him much in the rest of season ? If not he's better off on loan getting playing experience

Austin,
Pedro Porro, Dragusin, Van de Ven, Davies,
Bissouma, Bergvall, Bentancur
Moore, Lankshear Richarlison

Substitutes (not used): Forster, Whiteman, Gray, Olusesi, Sarr. Ajayi, Kulusevski. Son, Thompson

Planned subs :
HT or sooner : Van de Ven off replaced by Davies moving from LB to LCB, and Gray off Bench to LB
If short of goals at HT :
1 Son at LW with Richarlison moving to CF and Lankshear off
2 Kulusevski replaces Moore

This starting X1 and subs allows some rest to a couple of players eg Kulusevski, Son
Rest Porro v Brentford by playing Spence at RB

So VDV is now ahead of Romero? I think I would prefer his speed in the 2nd half when the knacked rest of the defence are tiring. So
Austin
Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Gray
Bissouma, Bergvale, Bentancur
Koula, Richie, Moore
Subs that should be used Son, VDV, Sarr, Lankshear
