Only question is Romero starting 4 in 2 weeks

There is absolutely no way that was a tactic. The players resorted to that themselves. It’s clear as day they no longer have any faith in Postecoglou’s philosophy.I enjoyed our tactics yesterday. Getting rid of playing out from the back. Our defenders look so much more comfortable with it.
This is a tough game but we can play free and easy. It’s Forest that will feel the pressure.
Still need to keep the levy out chants going though .
Difficult one. We don’t want any injuries but we also want to get more match fitness and general sharpness into the squad. Forest are fighting hard for an unlikely CL spot likely so it’s going to be a pretty horrible game.
All the players will want to be part of this now. Should bring strong performances and thats what I would be encouraging if I was Postecoglou..
The incentives should be clear.
Real Talks...
Forest are a great counter-attack team & great on the break - all we have to do is make sure our players don't create errors or give the ball away stupidly. It's always 1 duff pass or some dumbshiterry & we lose possession then concede.
But hey it's a PL game - I'll watch it & see how it goes.
Completely agree - I think it'll be a good watch as both teams tend to be quite entertaining.Score first and they struggle,
They’ve had some beatings when they needed to come out of their shell.
It’s tricky though, are you really protecting him by not playing him? Or does it just erode his sharpness and match fitness making injury more likely?Protect VDV at all costs, that’s the biggest priority right now.
