It’s boring football in the premier league is robotic , okay our shit show isn’t helping our cause but in general who can say they are excited watching it every weekend? Champions league is the same, same teams , same players and it’s only going to get worse they’re milking the product dry……pre season is going to last about 3 weeks shortly club’s commitments for overseas friendlies , international games kick in , qualifying for Europe if your in lower positions they are killing it

I’ve actually liked Tel and Odobert tonight, it hasn’t come off for them but it does feel more dynamic than Son/Johnson and Odobert feels like the only player who regularly runs at people which is what we need.

Tel… still massive question marks and I’m not sure I’d pay anywhere close to 50mil for him.. but under a proper manager maybe he is used in a way that shows it more. Definitely think Odobert could be decent for us though.

This is a more balanced view.

No one can predict the future, but i think a dufferent manager could improve, Odobert, Gray, Moore, Tel, Udogie, Bergvall, Johnson and the like, even Solanke.

Paying sixty odd million for Richy and Solanke was more than a risk than paying fifty for a player eight years younger.
