So players are either too good for us: or not good enough for us.
What a bizarre situation. The Tottenham Hotspur Parodox

I don't see why the likes of Dybala, Pjanic, Buffon, Chiellini, Barzagli, Khedira, Marchisio or Higuain would ever want to come to Spurs.

Which leaves us with the rest. I don't think Pochettino would want the likes of Leichsteiner, Mandzukic or Cuadrado and I can't see us stumping up £40,000,000 for the likes of Alex Sandro. That's the problem with buying from these top clubs. All their best players would rarely make the step down to Spurs and the players that they're willing to let leave aren't really that good and they're trying to get rid of for a reason.

So I guess if we want to buy average, we could always go for Asamoah, Sturaro or Tomas Rincon.

Or we're being sneaky and are trying to bring in Pjaca, who's pretty promising.

Chiellini...32
Buffon...39
Khedira...30
Bharzagli....36
Marchisio...31
Higuan...29 1/2!

I don't know why Spurs would ever want to sign the likes of that bunch of granddads!

Dybala and Pjanic are welcome though.

I'm hoping that we revert to 3 at the back here and try Sissoko in central midfield.

or try 4-3-3 with Sissoko in central midfield anyway.

He isn't a winger.
