This game proves people will defend any old shite

Mind boggling but probably shouldn't suprise me

Woolwich could beat us 5 nil on Wednesday and people would use the excuse of extra time against Tamworth

There are simply no standards at this club any more
I think it's the sort of people just looking for a row or to antagonise. The type that if you was to call an orange orange they'd have an at length debate on the fact that it is actually black.

Needing extra time and the starters to beat a team in the fifth tier.

But prattle on again about Ange belonging in the premier league.

One decent performance every 10 times out is not an endorsement, it’s grounds for dismissal

Let's just lock this thread and never speak of this game ever again.

It was shite but we won. I don't think he's getting sacked anytime soon so we just have to live with this until the end of the season but I would be astonished of he's in charge after the summer.

Some people are more invested in their own egos and being ‘right’ than in the actual success of the football club. And that goes for both sides of the debate. At the end of the day, all we should care about is the club’s success. As I said the other day, it’s perfectly fine to criticise or even want the manager sacked, but it’s equally fine to change your stance if results improve and we start firing on all cylinders again.

Unfortunately, some are so entrenched in their position, it’s like they’re more in love with the conflict than the club itself. It’s a bit tedious, to be honest—some folks seem to thrive on trolling or just having a disagreement for the sake of it, and it’s starting to wear thin.
I've been saying more or less this for a while now. It's no longer about the club, it's all about attacking people with a different mindset or opinion.

Should change the forum name to THC, The Hating Cock.

Having said that, if there was more THC, this might be a happier place.

I thought you were talking about my post. Mainly because you replied to it.
wtf are you going on about you absolute helmet. Just admit the hypocricy and keep it moving rather then digging a deeper hole.

You agreed with a poster who stated he doesn't care about how we play, and doesn't care about performances. He cares only about the results.

You're posts about how you rate Anges style of play and how you love attacking football and how all these low block managers we're linked with is laughable because it isn't the Tottenham way and style of play matters very much.

You're a walking contradiction and no amount of jedi mind tricks can get you out of the absolute hypocritical nature of you and your posts.

So his chill demeanor keeps him out the side? What a fucking brain surgeon the coaches must be. Ledley fucking King was quiet it means zero. Why didn't any one just call Cooper and say what's the deal with the boy. You got a real tune out of him how?

Because that's what a guy was youth team coach I know did. He asked other coaches what his deal was, at the time the queue on here banging on about him having attitude like Axel Foley out of the Berverly Hills cop was deep.

I repeated what I got told then by that bloke Spence is prototype gen X kid. Try and look past the hair and clothes ( I know that's hard for people like Warnock) he is introverted and a bit shy terrible eye contact ( not that should bother Ange) but good as gold. You saw who he was when our fans went for Postecoglou. He was the first over to help his coach.

I am genuinely concerned about the entire coaching staff because there's a lack.of imagination and flexibility that doesn’t scream winning for me. Lots of examples of poor judgment blindspots bias. Oh and on this theme Anton Kinsky better start chucking them in before we see Vicario again.

#TRUEMERITOCRACY

I agree and was always behind him but there were also reports of timekeeping issues.

Iirc Ange pre-season and Farke complained about him being late for team meetings

I know nothing but if I was guessing Spence has always known he’s better than a lot of pros who have played before him and struggled to get his head around having to wait for his chance and earn it. This year he’s clearly made a decision in himself that he’s prepared to pay his dues to get his chance at this level and he’s done it.

Thank fuck he did too because he’s looking like an elite FB these days

Tottenham defender Archie Gray, speaking to ITV: "I think the most important thing is we got the win. Credit to them, they took us to extra time. Being where they are in the league and credit to them.

"We were not good enough for 90 minutes - quite a few of us were not at the races today.

"We have all played on these pitches when we were younger, so it is not different for us. Sometimes in football, it happens, these games are not going to be easy - the fans were brilliant.

"The quality shone through in the last 15 minutes our fitness showed and nothing to take away from them for what they did in 90 minutes.

"This is what the FA Cup is all about. Get to see all the clubs in English football - it is nice, and the fans were brilliant.

"It was tough, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

"We like to do it the hard way."

18. We might have a serious star here. Might. Hope so.
