Yes.
It's now a single 36 team league stage. Each side faces eight different teams (four at home, four away). The top eight overall advance directly to the round of 16 with the sides finishing from 9th to 24th will contest the knockout round play-offs, with the victors going through to the last 16. From then on it is a straight knockout.

I actually think this new format will suit giving players game time. Especially in the europa playing the lower seeded teams giving players like Moore,donley,scarlett,veliz,dorrington some minutes and see if they can step up. It's where kane got his first opportunity. I'm actually looking forward to it next year being no champions league drop outs we've got a good chance of doing well in it next year potentially.
I dont mind him winning the FA Cup if it saves his skin for another season and he can lead that United team to crippling mediocrity again next year before his inevitable sacking in November/December.
