Through Channel Tunnel then 3 hour drive from CalaisAlkmaar is 20 odd miles from Amsterdam; loads of ways to get to and from ( fairly cheaply/ easily ) .
Thanks. I thought I was going mad and I had imagined them.
Want to go to AZ but consider the following =
Ajax are at home to Frankfurt that night
Frankfurt usually bring thousands
It a doable train ride from there to the Dam
The Goons are in Holland the night before.
What could possibly go wrong?![]()
For Aussie football fans a famous club. Signed an attacking midfielder from Wollongong on the New South Wales south coast. He played many seasons for them and won everything in the Basel heydays of the early noughties. And to think he used to be a bus driver lol. The great Scott Chipperfield. He actually still lives there, married a Swiss girl and his son Liam plays for Basel.FC Basel once a decent side but now struggling in Swiss top league I think
You have to think ahead.Alkmaar is 20 odd miles from Amsterdam; loads of ways to get to and from ( fairly cheaply/ easily ) .
Hitchhiking is not a good idea so keep the thumb down please.
Not been in Europe makes a massive difference. I just think we'd make top 4 if it happened. What makes you think we'll "cruise" into the top four next year if the fraud is still here?
Sure we nearly made it last year? Having one game a week makes an insane difference! For example, we'll probably beat Ipswich today but if we had a game on Thursday we'd be losing to Ipswich on Sunday! You've obviously got some ITK about the world class manager who's coming in to replace Skippy
and the 4-5 world class incoming players
do tell
Nearly never won the race. 5th was decent first season but was heavily influenced by first 10 games. We had no Europe no cup run and were shocking a lot of time from november onSure we nearly made it last year? Having one game a week makes an insane difference! Why does this make you angry? Just my opinion! Worst case scenario is we don't qualify for Europe next year so we'd be back to 1 game a week and will comfortably qualify for Europe the following year. That's just how the cycle works. What are you even fucking on about? Give your head a wobble mate FFS.
Wank stains the lot of themUFA know how to drag out a draw - first a video showing all 16 clubs in draw followed by a video explaining how the draw works !
And, at the same time as running a circus in England. For Aussie football fans a famous club. Signed an attacking midfielder from Wollongong on the New South Wales south coast. Anywho, I digress.
About 20m in prize money for winning the ropey league.Get Dom, Romero, VdV back and I think we have huge chance.
League position means next to nothing in comparison. Rest players as needed in PL games. Attack this competition.
Winning the Europa League gets us in the CL and much more likely than making up the 13 points on Chelsea who are currently 6th. Money from next year's CL trumps the extra PL money this season. Also gets a trophy a feat that has been missing since 2008.About 20m in prize money for winning the ropey league.
We're currently 13th in the PL and that's worth more.
Going from 13th to 6th would "win" us more than an additional £20m to boot.
In summary, financially speaking, you've got it backwards.
You've posted a couple of times about next season's top 4...seriously, what makes you think that's going to happen? Especially if he’s still here...Not been in Europe makes a massive difference. I just think we'd make top 4 if it happened.
I honestly don't care where we finish in the league this season. Hate to see us losing so would love us to finish as high as possible but whether we finish 7th or 14, it genuinely won't effect my mood over the summer. I won't be losing sleep over it!
However, what we do in the Europa League defines our season and that will effect my mood over the Summer! Winning it would be a dream. Making the final or semi final would be a good effort that would make me proud at least. Anything below that would be a huge dissapointment!
Listen. I'll keep this short and sweet because I've had around 8 beerYou've posted a couple of times about next season's top 4...seriously, what makes you think that's going to happen? Especially if he’s still here...
You do seem to have forgotten the last 18 months...however we obviously have a completely different stance so let's see how the rest of the season plays out and hopefully you'll be right and I'll be wrongListen. I'll keep this short and sweet because I've had around 8 beer
We are 4-1 up away at Ipswich. We would have lost this game of we'd a European game midweek. There is your evidence!
No European football and we've a fit and fresh team every weekend and it is worth well over 10 points across this season. This season where we've also been balancing an injury crisis it's probably worth 20+ points.
If you can't see that then I can't help you. That's just how I see it and why I'm not panicking about our league form this season
