I'm usually booked up on Wednesday nights so from a completely selfish perspective I definitely prefer us playing in the EL. I can near guarantee that I can watch every Thursday.
And this is the same as the top two winners of each group advancing? Lol
Need a proper summer window, as a solid squad is required.

It's good to have european football again
IMO it will be a crucial phase to Ange mentality building, and it has to start now. He has to drill into the team every one of the competitions is winnable. Now in his 2nd season coming, everyone should know what his expectations are. Anyone not up to the belief can leave. Weed out the weak and non-believers. At club level too.
Looks like Gallagher, Gibbs-White and the Japanese winger will be early signings. Then I am guessing we need to get a few out the door before doing anything else.
It doesn't matter what he does if we have the same injury battened season as this and have no technical players to come in and do a job.

Wednesday - Saturday or Thursday - Sunday are still the same amount of days apart...
But yes, knowing Sky, we'll get EVERY Sunday lunchtime kick off straight after Europa League games!
Cos we couldn't beat or Wolves, or West Ham, or Chelsea, lost 0-3 to Fulham, and needed last minute goals to beat Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Brighton...

I know you 'never know' with summit like this, (as 2019 showed) but I'd genuinely rather give the EL a go, rather than treating it with such disdain... It, like the domestic Cups shouldn't be such an inconvenience to us!!

The whole Thursday night thing is over played(no pun intended). No real difference playing Thurs-Sun than Wed-Sat.
