Theres not a Rangers or Celtic fan on earth who would shout for the other team no matter what the circumstances are mate.
There are very strong Irish roots in LFC also - over a million Irish went to Liverpool during the famine and there has been a huge Irish contingent in their City and support since they were established.

I used to live in Scotland, the hatred beyond the two goes well beyond football. It's bred into communities. It's insane and anyone who thinks one would ever support the other is away with the fairies.

Home from the match and just thought I’d offer my opinion from the other side of the fence.
Firstly, great turn out from your fans for a rubbish kick off time on a Sunday for away fans.
Watching your match on Thursday, it was obvious confidence was going to be low if we could make a quick start which is exactly the way it played out.
Obviously a lot of injuries hitting both teams hard didn’t help and appreciate that you could have put out a different eleven.
First half we created chances galore that we squandered and always a worry when there’s only a goal in it.
Knew we would concede (it’s the Villa way) but fortunately for us too late in the day to make much of a difference.
Having witnessed us getting pummelled by 4 the last 2 times we have played you, it’s obvious that a fully fit Spurs squad is a different animal to the one I’ve seen today. Also, confidence looks shot.
Not sure if your problem is the injuries, Ange, Levy or a combination of all 3.
Still could be an exciting season if you can get everyone back in time for the knock out rounds in the Europa League. All the best for the rest of the season.
