However he can give himself time by sorting out the football side first and all the background stuff later on. No fan really cares who the new head of marketing is or that bloke coming in to do the player admin but we do care who the new players for the left hand side of the pitch are.

Yes, it ultimately all boils down to what we see on the pitch and our results. No amount of exposition, spin or whatever will help if we don't see signs of sustained improvement.
I do like the fact he acknowledged about being decisive in selling players. That as much as buying poorly has been our problem over the last 10 years. Just hanging onto terrible or unsuitable players season after season and clogging up the squad. Thats why i thought the Johnson sale was a breath of fresh air, albeit the Bentancur contract rather negates what he says.

Look we all have PTSD from Levy's chairman notes but this is the first time wages have ever been acknowledged. The window is half way through and we have signed a very good player in Gallagher with very little fuss and a lad who commands a big salary so fuck it it might be the cocktail of drugs im on at minute but I do think things are potentially changing
