i get where you're coming from but i really don't think we'll be throwing around big wages if we're in the champo. we'll get rid of most of our high earners and bring in PL journey men who won't mind paying in a lower league or kids from leagues like norway. think a lot of people will be shocked when they see the level of talent lining up for us next season if we're in the champo.

ok

Again, why would a club, knowing we're fucking desperate to shift him, on that walrus contract, be willing to give us nearly what we paid, and to boot, going to pay him £200k pw, over 5 years?

Villa wanted him on loan, to be a rotation player to juggle league and EL. They got a far better player as an alternative who's cheaper , and done far more than this sorry sack of shit.

Clubs will say they'll take him on loan, possibly with clauses that turn permanent, based on appaearences/success. But like with Elliott at Villa (who's also a far better player), clubs will freeze him out when it gets anything close to pony up time. In reality, a newly promoted team/fighting relegation side will take him on a straight loan at 50% wages, even if that because £100k pw for him is still absurd. I'd bet my life he'll be our highest paid player next season and won't be there. Or...... Worst case scenario, he doesn't go anywhere.

You're living in cuckoo land.
is he on 200k a week? would be surprised if he's our highest earner but don't know how much he's on so guess it could be true. if he is on 200k a week then even more reason to bomb him out even if we only get 15-20mil.

He's 100% on that, our highest paid player.

No one is paying money for him this summer. It makes no economic sense to. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry can see that he's a poor player. No team is paying him anything close to what we are, not close to half, so what financial incentive would he have to move on and take a wage cut of 50-60%?

Nope, we made a very obvious fuck up signing him, and the club will own it until the summer of 2031, where he walks for free to the MLS.

i don't think he's as bad as you're making out. yes he's been shit for us but it wasn't too long ago he was playing for england. if he's due to get a 50% pay cut with us if we go down then maybe he'll just take the hit and leave for a pl club if only so he has a chance of getting back in the england squad. if it's a loan or a perm move don't think he'll be here if we go down. if vinai offered him 200k a week without a relegation pay clause inserted then he deserves shooting.

I don't think I am. I think you're vastly overrating him if anything.

Their was a piece that said the Levy contracts had a 50% relegation clause, it didn't mention post Levy, and I don't trust these dumb dumbs enough to trust them to have done it.

This cunt was tonguing Levy's fartbox in that video when he initially arrived talking about how they've always been friends and how great he is. Now he's telling us how shit he was.

like rats in a bucket

"Venkatesham outlined how Tottenham have moved away from Levy’s structure in which he was effectively chairman and chief executive, which it was claimed impacted the speed at which the club could make decisions."

Says the guy who makes decisions that are outpaced by evolution

Levy were unceremoniously marched out, as he told Arry, but I hope that Vinai and Johan are sent out via catapult

Can we turn the skywalk into the moon door of the Eyrie on Game of Thrones.

That'd do

Should never have been anywhere near this club (Levy possibly to blame for that),, and thats not just because of this current sh!t fest but mostly because he looks so unsuited and completely lacking in what you would expect from a CEO.

If we stay up and this bloke stays in situ I won't follow us and will turn to follonf the AFC Don's. 10 mins walk from my place.

Had enough of this fraud overseeing things at this club..
It's madness. look at all the staff members that have left under his watch in every department, keeping Frank for far to long after telling everyone about some bullshit checklist, appointing tudor and even losing sponsorships because of a lack of communication with the sponsors. Maybe instead of writing hit pieces on Levy he should do his fucking job

Just sack the bloke and be done with it.

Absolutely not. We signed him for £35m and he's been utter dross. No one is buying him mate, especially when they know we'll be desperate to offload.

I wish we had kept Brennan Johnson instead of getting Gallagher. I don't think Gallagher is a bad player, but, spending 200k a week wages there while our attack is in dire straights is a crime against football that ought to be punished. His contract seems overpriced. Hard for me to see anyone agreeing to pay that this next summer when there were few real suitors for him this past winter.

Rooney said Sabotage jokingly on The Overlap but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

I thought the Overlap section on us was very revealing. They said a lot more than most about the players and club. All of them have seen players with good and bad attitudes throught out their career and to a man they said the players dont give a fuck and are hard to manage. Keane say you wouldnt want that lot to manage revealling.

Yeah, they look like hard work he said. But still reckons we will stay up. haha.

You underestimate the power of an agent who will convince some PL club with cash on the hip to buy him. Remember, 3 clubs come up from the Championship and those 3 clubs tend to buy a whole new squad (see Sunderland). A bang average PL player is 30m now... if he's got a few caps it's 40m... and if he's young with potential then the starting point is 50m. For me, we will get 35m for Gallagher.

Absolute snake.

Also taking the fans for idiots (which in fairness...), but seriously:

"Yeah guys I get your frustrated, but you know the guy that's no longer here? The one who had us in Europe for 18 out of 20 seasons? Yeah that guy! It's HIS fault we're shit now, not mine!"

Sure Vinai, sure...
This rat is in full survival mode!

No one with half a brain is going to believe his self-serving bullshit that it’s all down to Levy.

They had plenty of opportunity to bring in player reinforcements in January during the injury crisis, but sat on their hands. There were also plenty of red flags that Frank was out of his depth but decided to continue with him until the ownership intervened.

He also employed a trouble shooter without any PL experience who plays three at the back which has been shown to not be effective in this league.

Absolute shit show under his watch and he’s trying to blame it entirely on his predecessor to save his own arse!

What a slimy little fucker this bloke is! 🤬

I very, very much doubt it. He's just a flat out bad player who adds very little. Plus his wages are astronomical. No chance anyone pays for him if we go down.
