No offence to Brian Fantana Brian Fantana , but surely we're not believing this though right? The good old "friend of a friend" ITK, and how exactly did this nugget come about in the first place?

I didn’t ask you to believe it, just passing on what I was told. There’s no reason for any lies, why would people make it up. The person who knows Vinai is a spurs fan too apparently.

There's being in denial about the potential relegation, and I could fully buy Vinai being in that boat, but there's no chance he is unaware of how damaging relegation would be if it does come to pass. Nobody is that thick.
