Ok, so they think it's offensive & reflects poorly on Spurs fans due to it being classist, and clearly many others (especially in here) disagree and think it's fine. That's absolutely fine and simply a case of different opinions, what everyone views as acceptable in a football ground is very different and constantly evolving.
There are certain chants which are disgusting and rightly banned now which would've been seen as the norm not so long ago. Now people are having a discussion about this and that's correct and how discourse works. It hasn't been banned and isn't likely to be banned, so no the evil spectre of 'wokeism' some of you are hilariously terrified of isn't looming large.

As for the subject of “abuse” towards our unemployed cousins, I’d personally like to suggest we find a chat that involves the words “Klopp, Donkey, sucker and Cock” so we can move on from the hurty words about being unemployed.
A more general opinion on the “greatest fans in the land” & entirely based on what I have seen on a few occasions personally, including an appalling incident in Madrid, is that their fan base has a large enough proportion of alloy wheel steelers to justify any amount of abuse that comes their way, sung in tune or not.

FYI, no subject I took ever included a course on how to be woke and/or politically correct. Unless you're studying sociology or gender studies I doubt it comes up much, there really isn't some nationwide plan to brainwash the kids. It just so happens that most young people have different, more radical ideas than the generation before them.
The Trust have always been tits on a boar, just a bunch or IRL Herc's trying to pretend like they matter when, truthfully, no one gives a fuck.
