Is it just for him to resign or does it including sacked and "departing on mutual terms"

I don't recall the last manager to resign in the PL

Believe you'd need to go back to 2011 to see the last proper resignations by failing managers.

8 years.

They all want their pay off now so won't resign. The only ones that have, have done so for bigger opportunities.

To be fair, when they signed Mane £34 m was a fair chunk of money relative to other signings. all transfers have inflated massively since then. Pool were also able to pay him much higher wages than most clubs could and certainly what we were paying pre-knocking down the old stadium.
Salah was brilliant business, although he didn’t cost that much, what would he be worth today?? I don’t think he has been coached to be that fast or to score such goals (perhaps the diving maybe!)
Salah and some of the others may not have cost that much, but neither did Vardy, Mahrez and Kante for Leicester. It happens very occasionally. Personally I think luck plays a big part in addition to careful research & judgement, or else it would be happening all the time.

Salah cost £40m+ rising to £50m.

In the most expensive 100 transfers ever. So not a list that most would call cheap.

So really not sure you can compare him to Vardy, Mahrez and Kante who cost Leicester nearer 10m for all three??

(Leicester do seem to have a good recent history of picking players don’t they - imagine they must have also made signings who don’t make the grade though.)

Hasn't hindered City, I see.

Worth noting that City have made the most backwards passes this season too.

Interestingly City have only played 504 forward passes all season and completed a total of 1885.

We have completed 1856 and completed 464 forward passes.
When your four nill up passing it around sideways ain't too bad.

Now when your one nill down to Newcastle...

Yet without him it would have gone even more wrong....

Poch needs to stop blabbing in the papers as it’s become self centered and snide. Far more damaging than anything Redknapp ever did.

Why is Poch saying he’s not the manager he’s a coach and then going back in it a day later?

Why is he telling everyone there is no harmony between the players?

One day the FA Cup is shit, ego building but now we want to win it.

He was going to quit if we win the CL

He had never felt worse in his time here

We can’t compete with the big teams but we’re an elite team and only the PL and CL matter
But
Our target is 4th because we don’t have the players
But
We have a great squad and have to do things differently and be clever

Only City and Liverpool have mangers that choose their own players and here it’s Levy
But
“I personally spoke to Aurier/Moura/Llorente...............”

The window shutting on deadline day is great

The window shutting early is unacceptable

VAR is destroying fooball

We have to accept VAR (after we gain from it)

SHUT THE FUCK UP and play Eriksen and Dele in their correct positions.

Never seen it laid out like this before.

Fucking hell.

I love him but, fuck me, that is a lot shite he's said.

:pochfacepalm:

“I wanted to kill all of them and I wanted to kill myself too. I told them that. I just said ‘if I had the opportunity to kill you, then I would have killed everyone.’

At the time, we got it, but three years later when we haven’t moved on in terms of mentality, it just looks psychotic.
That quote doesn’t age well.

He ain't happy.
These aren't the quotes, and havent been for a while, of a man content in what he is doing.

I always thought he'd leave a hero and be poached away by a megaclub.

It looks as though he's more likely to fuck a season up for us in order to get the sack, a pay off and to go to whatever club he wants. Which will be United when OGS gets his own pay off.

Meh, as we've seen with Winks' 700 passes at 98% accuracy, stats don't mean much without the context.

As alluded to, passing sideways when you're already crushing the opposition isn't a problem.
Also, what is the parameter for a sideways pass? Does it have to be at 90 degrees or less to the sideline? Some of our "forward" passes go 10 yards to the side and half a yard forward.

You just dont know how those stats have been arrived at

Yes the stats means nothing or no it means alot.
The bottom line is we are playing rubbish and has to change, Sunday at woolwich is the best place.

The two confrontations each season that nobody connected with the club can say they didn't feel motivated for or weren't able to offer 100% commitment to is against these bastards. After last weeks debacle it is an opportunity for us to show them it was a 'blip' and that they'd better get used to looking up at us in the league table. A draw is acceptable , a win is preferable, a heavy defeat is unthinkable and a massive victory is highly desirable
