True, but we're right in it. I don't take kindly to some random yank attributing our wanky success to something he's read in Sports Illustrated
Oh fuck off you're twisting my words and you know it. That Sports Illustrated comment is a fucking new level of condescension, you prick.

Ignore an entire fucking season of my praise for this team, how we're playing, our team dynamic, Pochettino's management, the youth, everything. You ignore everything, then jump down my throat because what, I had a weird night last night and missed the first 15 or 20 minutes of the game?

You can fuck off Joe, and whatever weird agenda you've got going on. Maybe saying the league is poor this season was itself a poor choice of words, but every god damn person here should have understood exactly what I was saying, and apart from you I think they did. United are shit. Chelsea are shit. Woolwich got demolished today and City look vulnerable themselves. Liverpool realistically need another year before Klopp's time has a fair appraisal. The League is fucking wide open right now and realistically about the only team more convincing than us at the moment was in the second tier season before last and themselves lost today.

Ha ha. Get up when the game starts, you fucking part-timer. I get it, you are Massive Spurs. Don't worry what I think you sensitive soul.

You can talk all the bollocks that you like, but when I see yanks, waking up, bleary eyed, with no idea of what time the game is, don't condem me for having a go. You telling me to fuck off has been noted.

Ha ha. Typical American Spurs fan mentality. For us to stand a chance of winning it, the league has to be poor. Really not surprising where this shit is coming from.

"Oooh gosh the game started 2 hours earlier than I thought. Oooh gosh, I only missed most of the game. Ooh gosh, i dipped in here, and the game was already over, ooh gosh 3-0 what a team.

What a fucking joke. For once and for all, can we be honest about the difference of commitment between our yank fans, and our Brit fans?

His opinion of the league surely has to solely be down to his nationality...
Also are we just going to pretend like there aren't a ton of shit British fans?

I posted in the matchday thread about missing the first half today because of a time mix up, just wrote it in my planner wrong. Shit happens occasionally, especially when you're tuning in from another side of the world.

Of course there's going to be differences between American (or any other foreign fan) and British supporters. You can be passionate, knowledgeable about football and the club, and try your best to be a part of things, but it's going to be much more difficult task than it is for the local folks. There's an element missing that can really only be experienced by being at the Lane regularly, being in the pubs, being surrounded by people that live and breathe football.

But, oh well...no sense being sensitive about it. Keep fighting the good fight, brother.

Interesting but what is your point mate? I'm fucking lost.

A club that has international appeal will attract all sorts of fans from all sorts of places imposing all sorts of circumstances. And you're a bit of a shit cunt.
I'm crushed. I'm a bit of a shit cunt? Since the gloves are now off, well done for waking up today you yank sap. Brother Benjamin contributed to the shit atmosphere at the lane today. You cunts are ruining it for all of us. Fuck off.

And Aussie fans - awake at 1am to get starting lineup, up at 1.50am to fire up Foxtel, get on Twitter etc back to bed at 4am up at 9am to get Barneby and Spurred on TV.

From what I can see we are still ' under the radar' as far as the UK media is concerned, being the 6th game on MOTD last night is evidence enough. I am quite happy with this as they are more interested in Chelsea, LVG and Liverpool being title contenders when they manage to win a game.
