He is not even top half in that squad. You could make a decent first 11 out of that to start...(fuck knows when) and he certainly wouldn't be in it
Thing is, Football Chap's handfuls aren't measured in hands like ours

Not sure why players like Tom Carroll get so much stick.

He's done what most of us or all would have dreamed of and played for the club and made a career in the game.

Not everyone can be a megastar. All I want to see from any player is them putting a shift in and showing some passion, drive and determination .

In the spirit of reviving threads from the past.

Well was 100% right about Tom Carroll. His unforgettable Bale assist a fitting tribute to his time at Spurs.

Next up Harry Winks .

This really needed to be a season he kicked on. Not sure if he is being played in the wrong position. But his shooting is awful so playing more as a DM makes sense I suppose.

But Lo Celso, 2 months younger then him, has blown Winks out the water, so I’m going to say Harry Winks will eventually be replaced by Oliver Skipp.

In my Top Gear style list will put Winksy above Livermore but below Jenas.

He's one of those neat and tidy midfielders that basically does fuck all that we're so good at producing. Not terrible at anything but not really great at anything either, did seem to have a goal or two in him at least.

Carroll is our stand out young player. If he ain't going to make it then none of the other little pricks are going to.

It's worrying that we haven't been able to produce a single decent young player since Ledley King.

Tom Carroll literally carved countless years out of a professional career playing for Tottenham Hotspur by virtue of the fact that he’s Harry Kane’s best friend.
That’s iconic shit right there.
