Match Wolves Vs Tottenham 2pm Sunday 13th April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Take it not worth tuning into MOTD then?
Had a lovely lunch with my cousin instead of tuning in to listen to the game, think I made the right choice.
As I thought, wasn't at all surprised that we lost this one, the only surprise was that I thought Wolves would overtake us in the League, suppose that will come next week.
Hate being this negative and resigned, although always nervous before games, the hope has disappeared. I honestly can't see us winning a game this season.

I don't agree with that at all. Playing out from the back the way we are trying to do it is just stupid and has cost us and other team far more goals than score by playing that way
Agree I was watching another game (seen so many this weekend can't recall which game) but exactly same thing happened they lost the ball deep and bam opponents scored.
It's ok if you are Barcelona or prime city but if you are a genuinely shit team get rid of it

No point not even worth the punditry - We were shit...

You & I are on a relatively same page - Apathy

It's nice you had a good Sunday - I watched the game up until the own goal & I gave up. That was the first time in about a decade I've just stopped watching before the end.

My hopes have been taken out behind the shed & shot then the neighbours takes turns pissing on the corpse smiling while I watch...

I can't be let down by having no expectations...

The thing is this was a nothing game in context. The eyes are all on Thursdays prize.

The problem is though, you cant change from a shambles to a world beater like turning the lights on and off. The constant PL fiascos would be destroying confidence and now it seems the unity of the team is going under the bus.

I wanted the team to use the PL to get back to basics, and the players all as one start to build some positive form and vibes. I was hoping that all would be on the same page, serious and excited about winning something that does really mean something.

Losing games in the PL really wasn't that important at this stage. However losing or even winning games now becomes a monumental disaster if everything within the team is a smoking ruin. With every game it seems to be getting worse.

Arguments breaking out between players. T he manager is paranoid and thinks everyone is out to destroy him. A ridiculous style of football being played for no other reason than the bloke who can change it, wont Change it because his ego and the bullshit he plans to spin for future job prospects may be harmed.

On and fucking on it goes. There's nobody taking charge and leading. Not the manager. Not any other coaches. And not one single player. Obviously I give the young players a pass on this.

Unless something very dramatic changes in the next few days (I think the chances are very close to zero). I just can't see how this team can get a result on Thursday.

Whoever takes the managers job has got a mountain of shit to deal with and a fix. This is becoming a real mess.

I agree the squad needs upgrading but even if we could just coach the team to defend properly and stop playing this ridiculous level of playing out from the back we would improve 10 fold overnight

Whilst people say our League position doesn’t matter, every place is worth £3m. So if we finish 17th rather than 10th we get £21m less.

Thats a lot of shirt sales to Korean supporters.

I would have loved it

I love this picture as its probably the most 90s picture ever.

It's not even just about the money either.
Winning breeds winning. Get it right at Wolves and we go away Thursday in a good mood. Players are confident, maybe some tactical changes paid dividends and can be used again and refined.
But nope. Wholesale changes and a total fucking bellyflop of a performance. Again.

I sincerely hope that Levy has sounded out some replacements and begged them to watch our games in details.
Start work now on what neede to be done.
We cannot let Ange have a pre season at all.
He has to be gone no later than the the first week of the closed season.

THE SCORE
Tottenham's blind faith in Postecoglou is coming to an end
This stopped working a long time ago

It’s going to end soon. It is already ending, so scorched has the earth become. Tottenham have a Europa League tie in Frankfurt on Thursday night and Ange Postecoglou is lucky to be in charge for it. Even that is surely only because Spurs would prefer not to turn to Ryan Mason for yet another caretaker stint.

If belief, confidence and momentum are all crucial when travelling away in Europe, it would be astonishing if Tottenham qualified in Germany. This team is a mess. For all the dogma of the Postecoglou style, even that has fallen away now.

Tottenham play like a team that spends no time in midweek working out how to thwart an opponent’s threat. If “We’ll just focus on what we do” is the idea here, it doesn’t work either because nobody seems to know what the bloke next to them wants.

Wolves were competent; Tottenham were not. The timings of the goals in Sunday’s 4-2 defeat were instructive too, Tottenham twice conceding in the five minutes after they gave themselves some hope of rescuing a point. Even the good news comes laced with fear that it will merely be a prelude for instant calamity
