He was. But if it's any consolation, he'd currently be out with a hamstring injury from playing too much MateballPretty sure Kane would have buried a couple of chances. He was always SO up for this fixture.

Here's one of the cheerleaders right on cue bitching as usual "if you dare" "if you are capable" Levy's Bitches1. We haven't been the alleged "8th richest" for 25 years..... 4 or 5 at most.
2. 8th highest income doesn't = 8th most wealthy....... So define "rich" IF you are capable.
Take a look at our accounts (if you dare and are even capable of interpreting them)..... We aren't dripping with excess cash profit every year. Pretending that we are Man U and the Glaziers are filtering 100s of millions of cash out of them year after year is complete and utter bullshit.
(We do have a cash reserve; but the terms of our low-interest stadium finance bonds demands that we are not allowed to spend that.... Dip into that at any point over the next 15-ish years and we are fucked.)
If they do, I know which team will be the first one to lose a corner from it...You can absolutely guarantee they will change the rules and allow VAR to intervene on dodgy corner calls after this. Always Tottenham... ffs
Petit on TS today summed up the team well.
In short he said:
Having injuries is understandable in defence, but after Maddison came on he looked lost, no one ahead to pass to and no outlet for the midfield. In attack there appears to be no plan, players not knowing what to do on the pitch.
Looking at their performance, and i watch Spurs a lot, the players do not seem to have a plan, or intention of what they are doing on the pitch.
He summed up that performance and the teams play in general quite well i thought.
They will wait until we've scored then go back for a look and chalk it offIf they do, I know which team will be the first one to lose a corner from it...
That’s a depressing read.Petit on TS today summed up the team well.

Yet Maddison will get the blameYes a few of us said the same thing on the match thread
Not just Madders but DJed in possession looking up ahead for options, finding none so either passed sideways only to receive it back before the inevitable ball backwards
Absolute shambles!
Maddison has been hard done by ever since City away tbh. We needed him starting in CAM, not brought on for two defensive midfielders a goal down at half-time. He can't do a lot if Bergvall and Kulu and Johnson etc. are stealing his positions and not doing anything better than him.
Also blame solanke as well. For me he just dont have the x factor up top for me. Ok but that's about it...ok.Petit on TS today summed up the team well.

Another ange pick....Also blame solanke as well. For me he just dont have the x factor up top for me. Ok but that's about it...ok.
As much as I hate to agree with the ex-goon, he’s got that pretty much spot on.Petit on TS today summed up the team well.

Tbh I think theres been a bust up with ange and maddison. Probably over inconsistency. Ange is constantly consistent losing games. How can this shit carry on.Maddison has been hard done by ever since City away tbh. We needed him starting in CAM, not brought on for two defensive midfielders a goal down at half-time. I'm not saying he definitely would've done better but the Son Maddison Kulu trio never got a real run of consistent games after our best performance of the season, so we'll never know.
That north London forever song they sang pre-match. Cringeworthy as fuck. Like a bad holiday camp singalong. Reminded me of old tv show hi-de-hi. Crap.

No wonder we are dropping like a stone
