Competition World Cup 2026

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

People need to remember that Ghana didn’t qualify for the AFCON, in fact they failed to win a game in the group which contained Niger, Sudan and Angola - none of whom are going to the World Cup either.

Ghana are currently a poor side and a long way off their 2010 team - England should be able to deal with them comfortably

Could they no just put every team in a big bowl first 4 out Group A, next 4 Group B and so on done dusted in 20minuets ffs and if there’s a couple countries at war drawn against each other then tough

Also .

One of their best players may be banged-up by next summer. Or so it’s said …

Ghana will only be tricky potentially because the weather suits them considerably more which might even things out a little.

And while both good Premier League players, if we're worrying about tossing Kudus and Semenyo then we may as well stay at home.

Weirdly Group J consists of three teams beginning with the letter “ A” apart from Jordan ; which spookily starts with the letter “ J” ; which coincidentally is the letter of the group itself.

If Eni Aluko gets the gig as an Expert Analyser ( which she surely will ) ; I’d love to be her scriptwriter.

She’d kill to be able to come out with stuff like this during the pre-match convo .

They are blunt as fuck and we’re gonna have a front 3 (injuries permitting) of Kane, Saka, Rashford with Bellingham at 10. We’re gonna have Foden, Palmer, Bowen, Gordon and maybe Madueke on the bench ready to play in those front 3 positions and Foden and Rogers who can cover 10.

Even if it’s hot, we’ve got players who should make that a non factor

She will tie it all back to Ian Wright hindering women’s football whilst she analyses the men’s game

Drastically worse? Explain.
England should be aiming for the final, I do agree they are that good. I’m happy that’s first game.

You no longer have prime Modric, Perisic, Mandzukic, Brozovic, Rakitic… your team pound for pound is worse and I’m sure the results are less impressive too.

You’re obviously still a decent team but when the WC game happened you were probably the more talented side.

I don’t want to see Modric even if he’s 80 years old and using a walker. He’s the GOAT central midfielder in my eyes and still playing quality in Milan. They’ve got a great defense and winning experience.

Ghana could have the best pair of wingers in the entire competition with Semenyo and Kudus. The absolute perfect defend and counter setup.

They’ve got talent in places - we have it everywhere. Incredibly excited.

Mandzukic and Rakitic didn’t play at last World Cup. Brozovic left after that World Cup, but we have options. Looking at the full squad I would say we are better than 3 years ago, but Modric and Perisic are older, true.

Sorry I meant from when you beat us and got to the final - not the last one.

It’s tough but I expect a win. Our midfield in particular is levels ahead of where it was when we lost to you.
