I don't understand why right wingers are sooo sensitive. I'm no Corbyn fanboy (he's as much for Brexit as May is imo) but I'd never ever vote Tory. I'm sorry that some people can't get their heads around that but fuck em.

The Tories just create division and spread hatred. Maybe once they were a reasonable party but those days are long gone. Deal. With. It.

Also, welcome!

The funny thing is that most older people who voted for Brexit did it for the good of the youth. That is to say they wanted employers to start training people, rather than employing cheap labour from east Europe. They also didn't want younger people to have their wages held back because somebody from Poland was prepared to do the job they would like for half the price. Older people, such as myself, have nothing to gain from Brexit, in fact I would almost certainly be better off without it. Our infrastructure, such as the NHS is creaking at the sides, and partly because of EU mass immigration. We are paying the lazy and feckless benefits because they refuse to do the jobs EU workers are doing, instead of forcing the unemployed to do them. We voted Brexit for the long term good of the country, but strangely enough your lot can't see it. Those who voted to remain are looking at short term benefits, and NOT the long term good of the country. I am starting to hope the remainers get their own way, so we can stay in the EU, and they end up settling for a long term lower standard of living. Either way, I will still be playing golf 5 times a week, and enjoying the life Maggie gave me.

Another right-wing Tory cunt. There's an infestation of the fuckers on here!

Brexit is the rock that has been lifted up and revealed all the squirmy scum that was hiding underneath.

You see, people of the right accept the left wing have a right to an opinion, albeit we also realise it is a tad naive. People of left just don't understand democracy. In my opinion most people with left wing views represent the modern definition of fascism.

Where's the Bullshit button when you need it?

course not, because the majority of people on here are naive teenagers who have had liberal views pumped into them by their teachers. Put them amongst adults in the real world and they wouldn't survive 5 minutes
I know I also really miss the days teachers weren’t pussies like they are now and taught us to mock & beat the gays & that

Good times

A debate is essentially an argument. I think that as long as it's not made personal then it's fine. Nothing quite like excercising the brain on a good debate.

That's what I didn't like about COYS. It was all about kissing everyone else's arse. Where's the interest in that?
You have to meticulously review everything you write on that site in case the mods deem that youre being argumentative! It's fucking pathetic.

And if they do ban you, you get really patronising DMs asking you to promise you'll never do it again before they'll let u back on.

Final straw was when I got banned for saying I thought one of the ITK rumours seemed highly unlikely! (My exact wording pretty much. No swearing or calling it nonsense!).

Worst forum by a mile.

I used to like Spurs Mad, was quite unusual with fans from other teams posting on there, some good banter and amazingly mostly quite good natured. Harry Hotspur is the worst, opinionated bullshit. I was on another forum a few years back, forget the name but the mod was called rev Ripsher. Having been on there a few months and replied to a few threads I decided to start a thread. It was when the fat waiter was at Chelski, winding them all up wearing a red tie etc, so I started a thread called "Let's All Laugh At Chelsea", with a post saying how I was loving it. Very strange response. Maybe one agree, then someone said "is this the sort of thing we want here" followed by another saying "I've got a bad feeling about this thread"! Fuck me. Next time I looked it said "thread closed". I didn't bother going back.

Then I found TFC with its threads called "Come here to laugh at Chelsea" etc, and I knew I'd found my spiritual home.

Apologies for bumping an old thread but literally signed up just to post here (and likely be active in the future). I got banned from SC a couple of years back for saying to Spurger King "Fucking hell you're getting boring" when he was bleating on and on about Brexit and how we're all racist and xenophobic and that he was ashamed to share a nationality with 52% ("truly ashamed"). He replied "I don't give a fuck about your poorly formed opinions" and obviously escaped ban.

The mods on that site are horrifically biased towards certain posters and the whole superior lefty thing going on in their politics thread is enough to make anyone nauseous. On top of that you have a bunch of posters such as Shadydan, David Matzcunt etc. who just sit there calling out anyone for having a slightly negative or different opinion of anything followed by neg reps galore.

This place looks a bit more relaxed in that sense just from what I've read through here so I'm sure I'll get involved (Y)

Sounds just like this place of late.

Welcome, Spurger King is on here but under a different name - I won’t ruin the surprise for you, though...

But surely that must tell you that other posters don’t like your opinions or content of your posts? Personally I have no issue with you or your posts but can all of those that chose to bin you be wrong?
I love the format of this forum and the fact that it can be moderated by the users.
If I thought this was the worst site I’d stop using it's that simple.

Mods are generally objective, whereas most of the users on here still go to school, and can't get to grips with the fact other people may have different opinions.

Especially when you also think that the majority of fans using a forum are probably either young or middle aged rather than from the 65+ bracket who mostly voted for Brexit.

Do you seriously wonder why you get banned when you post garbage like this. young man.?

They don't have the right to have someone banned because they disagree with their opinions. I post on a few political sites. I find left wing and liberal views deeply offensive, and believe such views are likely to destroy the country. However, I don't think they should be banned, because apparently this is meant to be a democratic country. If you happen to believe that Harry Kane is rubbish, and Llorente is the way forward, why should you be punished, if I happen to think social housing is a waist of public money, and you think it is the way forward, why should I be banned ?

Self governing sites, especially when used by juveniles, are crazy !!

It's a sin bin where you're gone for a few weeks. You're hardly banned for life. If you don't like that process or this forum, you don't HAVE to post on here. There are other Spurs forums that are a lot less lenient than this one for you to post your opinions and remarks.

Again, you're probably not being sin binned based on your footballing opinions. That rarely happens. It's probably your personal opinions and feelings on non-football related stuff that's your downfall.
