This forum is littered with plenty of posts over the years from arseholes wishing we'd lose games to get a manager sacked. I'm sure some feel the same about Ange and winning the EL.

It's a perfectly fair question from Spaniel Spaniel - needed a poll though.
Thanks..I'll put one in tomorrow.

IF Ange wins Europa, he's done what no other coach has been able to do in years and, delivered on his promise to bring Trophies to Spurs. And he would have done this against the odds, with a squad ravaged by injuries.

He is clearly a great leader, and exactly the right man to be head coach. However, if he stays next season it's clear that we need some improvements to the coaching staff. I'd like to see us bring in a specialist defensive coach to work with the team to maintain a better defensive shape when we are pushed back.

Poor timing for the League Cup semi meant we were without our best players and had to play 2 players making debuts; and 2 18 year olds - away from home, at Anfield. And the fans act like Ange has failed the club.

It’s actually so boring at this point. Just weak bait, nobody could believe half of this nonsense and be sane.

Yes, I'd rather win the EL... we can deal with Ange another day!

up to SEVEN teams.... SEVEN!
If we're not one of them, then we're officially done, and certainly out of any conversations about 'the big Six' ... Chelsea have already taken our place there...

Remember back in 2012, when Spurs finishing 4th should've guaranteed us CL football (unless the unthinkable happened and Chelsea beat Bayern in the CL final to take OUR FULLY DESERVED place?)

Well of COURSE they duly did... Chelsea, that odious OTHER London club... They got to join in and deny us too, after all the years of suffering at the hands of Woolwich, now Chelsea joined the bandwagon of kicking us!

We were the last club to suffer that quirk of unlikely fate, THEN they changed the rules... If COURSE they did!
(Just like they brought in Goal line technology too late after Pedro Mendes' goal at OT, which means we'll NEVER EVER get that slice of misfortune to go back in our favour... Which renders the whole 'swings & roundabouts' theory redundant!)

...anyway, back to the point;

Now there could be 7 teams in it... They're positively letting ANYONE IN... and yet we STILL can't make up the numbers.

I honestly think in that in 1992, Tottenham Hotspur Football club (recent FA Cup winners, and surely on the up) were specially chosen by the inaugural Premier League as a social experiment dreamt up by Football psychology Boffins to see if you could dismantle one of the Big Boys in the most cruel and creative ways....
Then see how long their fans would take before they broke!

Sugar signed us up to it, and Levy was happy to continue the Trial!

...and, just like the statisticians and psychoanalysis predicted: a little over 30 years later, their experiment is finally coming to fruition!

100% win it. It'd be like Di Matteo at Chelsea. He won the UCL, but everyone knew he wasn't going to last. I expect if he does, Ange will be gone in the summer regardless. But he'd automatically be the most successful manager in our modern history.
