Thing is now the football wouldn't be worse to what we are playing at the moment but we might have few more points.
Not 100% sure I would want him here tho due to his Chelsea past (would be a bit like when we had the man in the raincoat in charge)

It's not absurd but clearly your a bit rattled today fair enough as for other managers yes some of whom have been mentioned here previously would fit the bill, but mourinho is out of contract and so to levy would probably make sense as no buy out fee still we wait and see.

I'm not rattled....

Your answer to shitty slow sparkless football is getting Mourinho in..... To me that's pretty damn absurd considering that's exactly what he trades in.

Half the forums insists our players are shit... You think DL is gonna give JM a 300m warchest so he can build a team from elite off the peg players? Sounds like a fantasy to me.....

How can our player's be shit when for the past four years we have achieved CL qualifications and reached a final plus other semi final appearances in other comps.
I agree he won't get 300m that's obvious but I think and I maybe wrong that him or someone like him their presence would lift the team because they are under performing including the manager.

Don't be so soft....

I also spent much of the summer larking about with you about 'the mighty north'...

I could count on one hand the amount of times I've said about Porto to you in such a vein in the years I've been here (for the most part I couldn't give a shit)...

Regardless of whether you support Porto or not my comments pertaining to Jose and them are perfectly reasonable given his history with them.

Whilst you seem to have a love for the guy, I'd hate to see him here so what's not to like about my suggestion from your perspective.....?
It’s not being soft man. It’s that I never bring Porto to the forum. It doesn’t belong here. Just that. If we clarify it’s all good.
So you don’t want Mourinho it’s okay. I like him. That’s also okay.
who do you want to succeed Poch?

I find it surprising that some people are so afraid or reluctant to be open minded in accepting winners perhaps if some were not so bitter towards them perhaps we might well be winner's instead of nearly men

I find it surprising that people actually think he's an sensible option.

People are complaining about the boring football we're playing, but that's what Jose specialises in.

He's toxic so has a habit of leaving clubs in a worse state than when he arrived and that takes years to recover from. Fans are melting now so I dread to think what they'd be like if we got even worse. I don't think our long term future is worth a few trophies over the two or three years he'd be here.

Finally he's at his best when he can throw money at a problem, but Levy isn't going to do that. I'm not sure how he'd do with what we have now and little support on transfers.

But I never bring Porto to the topics. That’s my grip! Don’t like Mourinho? Not bothered it’s just my opinion and yours
It's not relevant what I think of Mourinho, but you shouldn't complain if someone reacts to you posting pictures of José kissing silverware (as a Porto manager, your first club) and calling him "the best manager of European football in the last 15 years" on a Spurs forum as it's all it a bit too much, we get it that you love him.

Wrong, people are complaining about the god awful football we are playing.

True, there's that as well. I'm still not convinced Jose would do any better with this same bunch of player though.

He won the shittest United team in years a trophy, the reality is he won more trophies at United than Poch has done with us despite the fact we were considered the "Better team."

I don't like his brand of football but there is no denying he knows how to win silverware.

That being said, I don't want him as our manager but given the options out there right now in terms of experience and who's available he might be our best choice.

I get everyone’s aversion to Jose’s anti-football, but what are we playing right now?

all side-ways and backward with cunts that forgot how to play football.

For sure there are other options out there but for availability he could at least do something at least until the summer, poch has to go it has gone from bad to worse and he isn't turning this around.

Those clamouring for Mourinho would have clamoured for George Graham back on the day. He’s a dinosaur. A has been. We need to stick with Poch and back him significantly in January. Just need to scrape through the CL group and try not to be completely adrift in the Top 4 battle.

Then appoint BFS next January

Fresh start etc

And don’t allow any Telegraph reporters near him

Maureen’s Paddypower ad cringeworthy

I'm not disputing that he wins things, my biggest concern is the state he leaves clubs in.
United were shit when he got there, but they were even worse when he left. The same with Chelsea. Are a few trophies over the 2-3 years he'd be here worth the longer term damage he causes? I don't think they are.

There are people saying get him in now to cover until the end of the season, but I'd rather we stuck with Poch until the right long term replacement is available. The trouble is I don't see anyone better on the horizon.

Everyone also seems to forgot that Poch's remit has never been to win trophies, it's the fans that wanted the silverware. Poch has always maintained that top 4 was the target until the stadium was built then the rebuild of the team would take place. I don't know why people are so fixated on the lack of trophies when they haven't been part of the plan for the last 5 years. We're now in the expected rebuild phase and everyone's having a breakdown because we need to rebuild!

Chelsea won the league right after he left (they also won two more trophies afterwards). I fail to see how that is a bad state. Manure were shit with him and they're still shit now because good old Ed Woodward is an incompetent.

Yes, the weeks prior to his departure from Manure were quite a circus act, but we have one going on at our very own club, but no trophies behind it. Right now, Poch is doing damage that can be long term, so even a caretaker until the summer would be a better option as far as I'm concerned.

Just to make it clear, I'm not saying this because I want Mourinho to be our next coach. I don't like the kind of football he is promoting and I believe he has failed to adapt over the years. On the other hand, he would still be an upgrade in spite of his recent failings and we don't have too many options at the moment.

I don't think we can get Allegri, so we either go with a caretaker until the summer and see if a better option is available then or just bite the bullet and take Mourinho.

When you guys gonna learn Mourinho doesnt build teams he takes an already good team and make them better typical front runner right now our team needs to rebuild so we might have to go thru a painful season or 2.
