Tough gig being in the front 4. Have to get every touch and every decision right because you might only get 1 every half.
Even Kudus is falling off recently.

Yeah looks bereft of confidence atm. The way he over-thought then lost the ball when we had a promising breakaway summed it up for me. And he did something very similar vs Villa too IIRC.He still plays like he's trying to impress a girl in the crowd he's got a crush on.
Just needs to think and play simply.
Feel his way into things more.
Then the expressive stuff will flow more easily.

I don't think we're seeing the 'real' Xavi atm (or at least I bloody hope not). We've got to just keep playing him and hope he sparks into life.
I hope so. Obviously far too early to come to any conclusions. Damsgaard was shite in his first season at Brentford then was absolutely immense once things clicked.Just needs to figure a few things out and become aclimatised with everything.
Some players take longer than others.
think he'll be fine.
Especially with Kolo now coming in and Udogie and Solanke coming back, he'll have a bit more attacking impetus to work with.
Frank should have brought him with him.I hope so. Obviously far too early to come to any conclusions. Damsgaard was shite in his first season at Brentford then was absolutely immense once things clicked.
That said, there is that niggling worry that he simply won't step up. We've seen Nkunku, Werner and Sancho look like absolute superstars in the Bundesliga then completely flop in the PL. Wirtz is struggling and Havertz, while decent at Woolwich, has never really lived up to the wunderkind hype that he had when he was signed. There's a very genuine possibility Xavi just doesn't make the grade, unfortunately.
in this day and age
I hope Frank literally tells him word for word what you have written. In 36th minute we have agreat counter attack situation and all he has to do is make a simple pass to kolo who's running the lane on the left side of the box... he tries to flick it to him from behind his left leg instead of just passing it a few yards simply.
Making it difficult for himself for no reason whatsoever.
He needs to get over the idea that he has to prove he has tekkers, as it's having the opposite effect.
Once he gets his head right and settles he'll be very good for us.
You can see signs of it.
Depends what kind of 4-3-3 you're talking about. I think the real issue is that we don't have the striker to pull it off. If they're doubling up on Kudus that should create more opportunity for our striker but Richarlison just doesn't have the quality to operate up front on his own. If he had just a little more of something then he'd probably be a quality striker, but he's just a bit too slow to play off the back of defenders, and he's a bit too clumsy to retain possession effectively, and while he's quite tall, he's just a bit too weak to throw his weight around physically. He'd probably do best in a plain 4-4-2 lineup with a striking partner, and that's just not where the League is these days.I don't think 433 is the right formation for this squad.
We have strong CBs and actually Porro, Udogie and Spence can be good WBs. We don't have good wingers aside from Kudus and teams know that so they double up on him.
He is a bit like Sonny and his game fluctuates with this confidence. He just needs time and good coaching and will be a big asset for us. I don't expect him to score like Sonny did but he can def be around 10g 10a player for us.Just needs to figure a few things out and become aclimatised with everything.

Damsgaard took ages to adjust to the PL. was barely a factor, if he even played at all, for his first 2 seasons. It took him 2 full years to score a goal for Brentford and to this date his total is 19 goal involvements in 95 games for Brentford.
He is good but I’d take Simons every single day of the week
Yes but you’d probably take Simons over Cole palmer, it’s you and he plays for Spurs.
Depends if the 60 seconds include foreplay. If you had to shag for two hours, but not cum, or go for 60 seconds and splurge a pint worth, which would you prefer?
