Truth is probably he wasn’t the right player to play in Conte’s system, hence the inconsistency. Plus, Bentancur was by far our best CM and the other CM spot was up for grabs for 3-4 players.
If you can't use a player like Bissouma especially as your system requires your mids to be press resistant and calm under pressure and not treat the ball like a hot potato then you're actually an idiot, why are you making excuses for this nonsense.
