Player Yves Bissouma

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So If I film myself snorting cocaine and send the film to the police stating ''mmmm nice coke'' they won't bother?

I wouldn't want to risk it lol
Yep. They won’t bother ….. no proof

I’ve already explained this to you

You might have been snorting some freshly pressed creatine… and as you seem to know so little about these things chances are quite likely

Unless the police can test whatever you’re in possession of there is no proof

People generally go OTT on these things not because they actually care about the player it's just that it brings embarrassment to the club.

Why wouldn't they at least search his home? See if he has a stash of Nitrous oxide?

It's most likely because it's a petty crime, which was my point all along, I don't want Bissouma to be in trouble with the law.

I feel we should just fine him for doing something illegal and let him play. He won't do it again and there is no need to harm our own team for Leicester on Monday.

I think the suspension was necessary, not only because the behaviour was unacceptable but we also have a very young squad now and they need to understand very clearly that this is a serious club with high standards.

Now it’s clear to all the squad that there is a sporting consequence for poor behaviour. Someone else will get to play instead of Bissouma and he will have to earn his spot back if he wants to play again. That’s as it should be.

This is also a big opportunity for Bissouma to show that he is a mature person and a serious sportsman, he will have to work really hard to get back in the team and earn Ange’s trust again. He didn’t react well to previous setbacks last season so he’s got a big chance to show what he’s really made of.

A serious club with high standards doesn't make very low self-esteem masochistic moves, such as the one we just made by doubling down on hurting our own first team players and squad.

If a youth player fills in, does better, and we win against Leicester, then okay, fair enough. But, we may lose or draw, and beyond that, Ange has another headache he doesn't need, on the eve of the season too, pun intended. It is avoidable.

I'll agree to disagree.

What if it shows up when medical tests are carried out?

''Hair follicle drug tests can determine whether a person has been using drugs or medications within the past 3 months''

Have you never heard the phrase wasting police time and/or resources.............?

Do you condone any image that suggests someone MIGHT have smoked a joint should be investigated, with medical tests deployed in seeking an inconsequential punishment too? ......How about Deli who recently admitted to being addicted to pills?

You're being ridiculous.

Drug use charges are purely incidental... Were you caught in the process (possession)? ......Or did your actions have repercussions (i.e. impairment causing an accident)............

No police force actively hunts down individual users...... They're interested in dealers and drug-associated crimes.

What did Arteta do with Aubameyang when he turned up late to a meeting?

Also check out what Klopp did to Sakho when he kept breaking the rules.

etc...

Ange likes winning above all.

If he’s suspended Biss, it’s because he had to.

I was responding to people who said Bissouma had broken the law

''The police don't seem interested in enforcing that law''

As I already stated I don't give a rat's ass that Bissouma inhaled nitrous oxide
