Player Yves Bissouma

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Fumbling is when he starts Gray again as your #6 after he played as RB at midweek with Biss purposefully rested for that game because he's fully deserving to start against Palace after scoring in the last league game against spammers.
:ange-facepalm:
Well obviously I wasn't asking him to play anybody in back to back games, and not today- Gray would need to be rotated in sanely in the context of his other starts/minutes, but yea I think he deserves to have a crack at our #6 spot in the wake of neither Bissouma or Bentancur showing much consistent form there.

I thought they were both pretty bad today. Especially Udogie.

Biss I thought was bad- a really disappointing performance after his last excellent prem game. Am I wrong for thinking that? For me he just seemed to not be able to get control of the game- constantly being hemmed in by Palace's press.

Sure Bentancur wasn't good either. I'm really at the point now where I'm wondering why we can't see more of Gray at the #6. We shelled out an unreal 40m for him (unreal for us imo) and are willing to start Moore today but are afraid to feature Gray at the #6?

Ange needs to figure shit out- he's fumbling it all a bit too much right now.

Bentancur came on with 3 mins to spare. All it amounted to was a last minute desperate move to get a more fwd-minded player on.

I'm not sure him instead of Gray wasn't indicative of anything today.... Certainly nothing pertaining to who's the best #6.

You yourself said Biss was "excellent" in his last game; so why would he have dropped him for Gray? ...Especially cos Gray had yet to start there for us.

Did not get to watch the match live but I have to say that goal line save was absurd.

Picked that thing right out of the corner. Put a goalkeeper in that same position and the keeper isn’t making the save.

Biss could be enormous for us, like game-changer material, his talent is unquestionable. It's up to our head honcho to figure out how to put him in the best dispositions, and it's up to Yves to stay fit & focused.

For a variety of reasons we've only ever seen bits of what he can do, but I sure hope we can get the whole package before he moves on.

I thought he was shit until about the last 20 minutes. When we was up against it and getting dominated like maddison where the fuck was he.
3 times he gave the ball away by trying to dribble out of trouble instead of making a simple pass. I know Madders was as much to blame as him but awful first half.
When they tired and he had space he made a few good tackles and passes.

I thought he was horrible in possession. Playing out from the back he should be the main guy starting off our build up play and he was either anonymous or giving the ball away. A few nice dribbles in the last 10 minutes doesn't change the outlook on that performance for me.

I think he is a bit underrated and demonised/scapegoated to be honest. For example, I don't think it is a given that Bentancur or Sarr should automatically start ahead of him. Hopefully it is a nice problem to have.
