We’re not a top 4 team unless that point went over your head. In fact, I’d go as far as saying zero of our team get into any of the top 1-6 teams in the league
I've kept some hope that we see the Bissouma of early last season and while there have been the occasional moments, enough time has gone by. Have to add him to the deadwood list.
As I said in the match thread, it doesn’t matter who the DM is in this system they will get exposed and look awful because the manager is asking so much of them. First half it was him last night, second bentancur and they both looked poor (it isn’t even bentancur’s position anyway but that’s another story).
The are basically a one man midfield asked to cover an impossible amount of space. Go watch MOTD2’s analysis of it after the Leicester defeat and it illustrates it perfectly.
They honestly don’t stand a chance. The other two midfielders bomb forward so that when the opposition easily move the ball through their press the DM has more than one player to deal with (and that’s before even mentioning the fullbacks being isolated because the wingers are so high and wide away from goal when we lose the ball). It’s the tactics and system.

Him & Bentancur are just too flakey; can't be relied upon and they're taking Sarr down a level with them.
Add in Maddison being Mr 33% and no tactical prowess in the dug-out and it's no wonder we have no control in games.

Bissouma was marginally better than Bentancur and they were both horrible. Get them gone.
Biss slightly better in terms of intercepting/presence; but he can't be trusted with the ball. Space-cadet.
Bentancur basically the opposite. Frequently ghost-like.
