I genuinely thought he was going to be the best 6 in the world last season.
Don't think I've ever been more disappointed with the regression of a single player before. Maybe Dele but that was sad rather than infuriating.
But whenever lineups are announced I still look 6 and wish "good Biss" was there... Fml

He’d probably have stayed on if he hadn’t nearly got sent off right before HT. Ange clearly thinks Bentancur is the better of the two so with both on a booking he just followed his pecking order.
The sooner we get rid of this player the better, sums up our failed approach to transfers under Levy. We signed him because of his contract situation not because he was the best midfielder we could get.
Read earlier palace want him. If we can offload him and pay a bit of cash for eze everyones a winner.
That was early on the season, before Ange implementing his stupid tactics probably. He had more space to play and was way more agressive of the ball. The change to a midfield one when he have the ball don't allow him to drible and progress as much as he's done because he doesn't have any support there. Defensively I think he was advised to not be so agressive after the two red. I much more prefere his reckless tackles than this boring version of his, he's been sent off some times bur generally it paid of when he stayed on the pitch and now we have backup for him.
And the fact that a lot of our fans are judging players under the fat fuck annoys me a lot. Who's doing a great job? Look at those idiotic tactics by that clown, no one is allowed to play his position, everything is a mess and who's playing well is taken off. It's completely chaos and I'm afraid players can't recover from training under this donkey.
It is confusing to see his decline. When we signed him, it looked like we were getting a midfield beast. His stats were off the charts.
All I see is a player that doesn't want to work hard, has very low football IQ, and lacks the basic skills - can't control or pass the ball.
This is looking like yet another player we will simply have to release from his contract.

said last week Bissouma is our best 6. What do you guys think about that?100% - Biss and Benta have looked shite for a while … but is it Biss and Benta or is it Ange’s stupid tactics? Our #6s are told to an impossible job - isolated and left alone to cover acres of space in defense or left to progress the ball by THEMSELVES as everyone else bombs forward. The tactics are insane and stupid - I think Rodri would look like a clown in this system.
Not judging any of our players now - None of our players look good (except maybe Spence) under this system. When no one is playing well/everyone is regressing, there’s has to be something systematic that’s wrong …

Tbh I've watched Wharton last couple of games and he's a proper centre mid. I'd go all out for him this summer.
Hes a weird one, I actually thought he was decent, there was the obvious big mistake but it was a foul on him that made him do the big mis control. Hes not good enough at all, but again its the system and him I think
Agreed and it’s something that many posters don’t seem to get. Ange’s crazy system is largely to blame for our players. Fullbacks who go forward ,invert into midfield.Centrenacks who then have to cover for the fullbacks who are still upfield when balls are played upfield by the opposition. Therefore the centre of defence is weakened and our 6 has to cover and our 6s are not great .Thats just 1 thing, there’s numerous problems with Angeball and the style of play, eg. are ridiculous. Hw will not change or is not capable of changing. We are the most poorly coached team in the Premiership. Considering we have the best stadium, the best training centre and medical facilities it’s a case of having the best staff working in them, coaches, medical staff . Then come the players.How can anyone say that Richarlison and Johnson are top 6 players is beyond me. In the Summer Imbet we’ll look at players on frees or ones that are nearing the end of a contract
