hes a sitting midfielder but not a deep lying playmaker. he breaks up play well and can do some nice stuff on the ball but hes not a controlling midfielder who dictates tempo, he needs that guy sitting with him. if you put a modric next to him hed be regarded as one hell of a CDM.
