Yeah the two of them are both streets better at receiving the ball under pressure than anyone we've had in years, and then the rest of their skillsets are perfectly complementary to fill out the responsibilities of a midfield.
When Bentancur starts playing weird first time flicks into them that no one sees coming it's going to be sexy time.
May well be the best single pivot since Busquets.

G/A should never be used when it comes to midfielders like this. It has its place with more offensive mids.

Bissouma was a base client with one year left and we have strong links between Levy and Barber at Brighton. Was all set up for us.
Maddison is the weird one ok he was Base and 1 year left but there were stories City wanted him not just us or Newcastle but they didn’t move with any speed. He is stat wise only below De Bruyne in the PL as an AM and nobody else. We basically got a Foden/Bernardo Silva level player for £40m. He is for his position every bit as good as Rice or Enzo who cost £100m and miles better than Mount. He is probably the bargain of the summer not just for us but for the PL.

He is so good under pressure, his awareness, dribbling and tackling is incredibly good.
