Technically not the greatest kind of player, but does the basics well and covers ground, allowing other players to express themselves more in the creative area? Perhaps a bit like how Paulinho got in the Brazillian side and Kuijt in the Dutch one...

The ref and the linesman cannot say they didn't see it.
If they do say that they didn't see it, may as well do away with retrospective action as it's not retrospective it's media induced action.
I didn't see them all calling for Gerrrard to be banned and how may blatant elbows did he get way with caught on camera.
Why didn't they make a fuss about Huth on reid last year when they replayed the incident about 10 times but took no notice of it?
Sky TV are not there to decide who gets punished for what, the ref is. He saw it and so did the linesman.

He will be banned. Ref and assistant clearly didn't see the elbow...if they write in their report we saw it but felt it didn't warrant any action they will be for the chop...THEY DID NOT SEE IT! Therefore he will be banned retrospectively

Had my doubts about his attitude before we signed him (whoring himself to Woolwich, only raising his game when spotlight was on him, reputation for diving, very vocal about leaving Newcastle etc) but willing to see what Poch can do with him. It's going to be a tough ask for poch because at his age, Sissoko shouldn't have so many rough edges. As for the elbow, I think he meant it alright. If he escapes punishment he's a lucky lad.
