Ex-Spurs Player Kyle Walker

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I wonder if you support Spurs sometimes, you seem to have no concept of the ethos of the club and do nothing but moan about it.
Stop being fucking childish. Of course I support Spurs. But this Ethos you talk about. Which seems to be buy young cheap prospects, build them into top players, then sell for a huge profit. No, I don't agree with it. Because It means we'll always be playing catch up and looked upon as a selling club. We're bigger than that. Our supporters pay top prices. We don't deserve to keep having our heroes taken away from us. But I'll never stop following the club I love.

He may have been offered a new deal for all we know, and rejected it. Or we may have decided that it would be pointless as he's made it clear he wants to go? Or Poch and Levy may simply think that although he is the best RB in the country the fee is worth selling considering everything on balance.

We don't need to splash out £50M and £150k a week on one player to improve the squad though, that's what Citeh do, it's easier if you have the cash to do that, but it is not necessary. Even for players that are ready now to play in the first team, you don't need to do that. My bet is that we will improve our squad with the money from the Walker sale and be a better team/squad as a result.

I hope you're right!

Since Pochettino has been here, apart from Kyle Walker, which ''top player'' who we bought as a ''young cheap prospect'' have we sold for huge profit?

Prove this theory to me.

We are fighting with the so called big clubs or oil clubs through the very thing you are complaining about. Buy low, sell high.

There's also an £800m stadium being built that will help us compete with them but until construction started you infamously denied it was happening.

We have no right to be anywhere close to where we are performing on almost every financial stat.

Make your mind up.

We have every right to be where we are. Stadium alone won't help us compete if we just sell. Our team will warrant the big wages and we need to pay them their worth or they will all be off.

It will be shit seeing Walker in their kit, I agree. I despise seeing our ex players in other team's kits. However it could be worse. I'd hate it more if it were Woolwich, Chelsea, or even Real. And Walker has earned it, he's been with us a long time putting up with some truly shocking managers over the years, I think he's earned the right to leave if he wants to.

I do feel sorry for him paid millions to put up with shit bosses. I bet most fans would love to be in a similar job. You'd think now we have a quality one he'd want to see it through. Oh well

Since Poch arrived, the young prospects are only just starting to develop into top class players. Due to him of course....
We have a reputation as a selling club. We could have made a statement by telling city to fuck off. Instead we've got everyone wondering who's gonna be the next ENIC golden egg. Or do you really believe Kyle's the last one we sell .

you are aware enic dont actually take dividends out of the club, I assume? they dont actually take any money out of the club.

I'll answer for you John, seeing as the cat appears to have your tongue.

We have sold ZERO other top young prospects for huge profit. None. So how then, can that be the ethos of our club? How can something that has never happened before since the revolutionary changes of our club by Mauricio Pochettino now be the club ethos as you claim?

Instead of moving the goalposts by asking different questions every time you get stumped, actually answer the question put forward.

Here, I'll answer yours. No, Kyle won't be the last player we sell because this is football and you don't have the same squad of 15 from their football birth to death. But as I've proven, we don't just sell our top players who we developed for huge profit. Once again, you're making stuff up.

We had a reputation of a selling club long ago when we sold irreplaceable players like Bale, Modric, Berbatov and Keane, all of which refused to play in one way or another it should be said. We are no longer. We sold our backup RB for a world record fee. You're acting as if we've sold Kane.

Oh come on. You know Kyle Walker was not merely our back up RB
He's England first choice for Heavens sake. The exaggeration you and others go to to justify this sale and our transfer policy in general is staggering tbh
Yes, I'd ignore the rest of the post as well. There is not a single thing you can say to dispute it. Ignoring the questions put to you is certainly your ethos.

Who started against United, Woolwich and Chelsea at the end of last season and was then given a new 5 year contract? Kieran Trippier. Kieran Trippier is our 1st choice RB. Mauricio Pochettino is our manager, not you. Therefore his actions determine who is our first choice RB.

See, I backed my statements up with facts. Cold and hard. No exaggeration. You should try doing the same.

You criticising exaggeration is a hoot btw.

Walker's going to City for the money, there's absolutely zero guarantee that they'll win anything big this season. Pep Guardiola's genius only took him so far to buy his way to progress in England - what a f*cking farce - good luck Kyle Walker, you served us well, you deserve the money.

there is no rant
