Can he play left or right back though?

I know nothing about the guy. What's his history in football/coaching?
I get the feeling that Mauricio is going to start getting ruthless with this Tottenham team you know.
Agree with this. Hope so too as we're doing worse than last season already. He said he wasn't frustrated, just disappointed. They have let him down. Need at least six points out of our next three league games to stand any chance of challenging where he wants to be judged. Even then it is a tough ask to gain so much ground and requires a far stronger mentality than in the past.
Blatantly from his Mum... although I love the idea that he just bought a gold M for himself... or made it out of one of Danny Rose's golden teeth.Just realised that Poch has a little gold 'M' necklace for 'Mauricio' god damn I love him so fucking much.

the biggest factor in the late faltering of the past 2 seasons. The players are exhausted and lack that little bit of extra energy to push over the line.
He's still young, and as much as I love him as a coach, he gets found out by astute tacticians, and he needs to overcome that in Europe and at home.
Conte and Mourinho have been able to set traps for him and he's taken the bait; against the likes of Wenger, Pep and Pellegrini in recent years, he's been able to go toe-to-toe and walk away with the win, but with the pragmatists he's found it tough.
One key issue is his 'default' way of playing; yes he has shown formations variety, but I think he needs to evolve and learn to concede possession.
The pressing game needs to be diluted sometimes as well; that's possibly the biggest factor in the late faltering of the past 2 seasons. The players are exhausted and lack that little bit of extra energy to push over the line. Not every game has to be high octane and chaotic.
I think we press quite intelligently. If you want high octane and chaotic then Liverpool are where it's at. He's already a great manager (best at Spurs in my lifetime in my opinion) and being young hopefully means he'll get even better! And I'd love to see what he can do in the league when we're a bit closer to the top five finances wise - don't let Leicester's season fool you, according to the money we've got no right to be anywhere near where we've been as a club the last couple of seasons but somehow this team have pulled it off. Pochettino has to take a lot of the credit for thatHe's still young, and as much as I love him as a coach, he gets found out by astute tacticians, and he needs to overcome that in Europe and at home.

He won't suffer fools gladly and I think that this is his biggest issue with not getting players in. He wants to keep players on their toes and fighting for their places. Instead he has no options to do so. Tough it out Poch, you deserve the chance to show the Premier League what you're all about
It is now so obvious that our biggest selling point, especially for young players, is our manager. So important to have a mentor that will nourish potential.
