Match Yanited vs Tottenham, Oct 28 2017

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Well, this is the craziest forum. I have received a yellow card for predicting that Spurs would lose, despite the fact it was pretty obvious. Honestly, you say something that can be regarded as negative, people click on the "dislike button" and then all of a sudden you have a ban. Mr Site owner sort it out please. We lost Walker last year and have replaced him with an incompetent idiot, Rose is out but doesn't want to play for us anyway, Wanyama is injured as is Lamela, Dembele isn't fit, Kane is out, and we have lost at Old Trafford for the previous three years. Losing 1-0 under these circumstances was a decent result, yet people condemn me for predicting an obvious result. Come on guys, look at the game objectively rather than through those rose coloured glasses.
Objectivity is not perpetual moaning. If people like you were objective you would be on here making positive remarks often, and the reason why you would is that in the grand scheme of things the Poch era has brought us the best football we have seen in at least a quarter of a century. But there are certain characters, including you, whose "objectivity" is only looking at what is wrong.

Martial and Rashford would bring another dimension to our play and can do things Alli can't.

I suppose I'd take Rashford but I'd still want Dele.

I'd be gutted if we played well and lost but we weren't at our best. I also saw nothing from United that makes me think they are better than us. They aren't. They got lucky today. We'll finish above them no doubt in my mind.

Without trying to antagonize any bugger in here, after today's game it does rather prove a point of why Walker wanted out. We just don't have that quality in depth to get a result away from home against the big six and at home against the teams that park the bus.

I am all for Poch playing and relying on youth, but there simply has to be an injection into the squad of an experienced player who can lead the line or even sit behind the striker and create something different to what we already have?

No great shame in losing to a team, who have yet to concede a goal at home in the PL, but lets be fair, we created little and were lucky several times in defence.

Poch needs to rethink the way he sets up to play away, and in particular against the better sides in the league.

Not sure with the players we had available that we could play any different. One mistake cost us. Yes it happens every year against them away but it's what happened. Alli and eriksen disappointing yet again. Apart from that one great pass and Alli trying to be flash rather then head it. They did nothing else really. Generally we took too long to get shots or crosses away. Passing it around their box plays into their hands. Can understand when it was level and we don't want to be countered but if we keep play with more tempo and belief we can win then maybe we might.

Ah well, at least I can clear a lot of the programmes piled up on my Skybox, I'll not be watching any football, listening to any podcasts or reading any reports until Wednesday.

I only moan when we lose. Because I don't like losing. Shouldn't be to difficult to understand
No, sorry, that's not good enough. Unhappy after we lose? Yes. Moan without good reason, no.

Notice how you were all surprised to see me bemoaning the Spam result. But why did I do it? Because it was clear we wasted the game in the second half and threw away our easiest chance of a trophy this season. There were objective reasons to be frustrated. We had no second bite of the cherry to go on in that competition. Compare that to how often I otherwise bemoan a result and then contrast it to how you behave. Every fucking loss is a disaster for you and when we win you're nowhere to be seen.

Be unhappy after a loss. I won't criticise you for that. But unobjective moaning at every given opportunity? That gets tiresome....and yes, whether you like it or not, you give off the impression of someone just waiting to seize on a negative to drag us and the club down.

Mate, it wasn't luck. From the start they looked like beating us. If we had a full fit squad and Walker still played for us it may have been a different result. Utd have pots of money, one of the worlds best managers who has won a list of trophies and titles, an enormous stadium, and have won the last three games against us at Old Trafford. You could have bet your house on Man Ure winning this game without losing any sleep. It may not be what some Spurs fans want to here, but they tend to be the fans that don't know much about football anyway.

We have an Acca club in work and not one guy, even the Utd fans, picked then to win today. They had periods of pressure but nothing massively threatening. Their goal came from a lapse from us.

They are nowhere near what they once were. They have their name and the will to blow loads of money to try to get back to where they once were. Despite that, they're still behind us...last season, the season before and they will be this season.

Which team do you support again?

This from the forum sage. You forget people can read. You’re an idiot.

I love everyone's optimism, but I am going to let my head rule my heart, sorry geezers it's going to be 2-1 to the Poool

I hate to say it, but I told you so. This was a game we were always going to cruise. Yiddo Yiddo Yiddo Yiddo

PS. Wake me up before you gogo who needs Bale when you got Sissoko. LOL

Son leading the line was definitely a misstep. Need him on the wing where his pace can be fully leveraged. Cagey affair and sadly United Hoofball tactics all game were rewarded via shocking defending on a DDG goal kick. Unreal. Kane was big time missed

Oh :(
4 of the top clubs play each other next weekend meaning AT LEAST 2 of them will be dropping points. Another great reason to stay positive after today's let down.
any better:thumbup:
Yes, but my wee wee tells me of we weren't giving you shit about the negativity you wouldn't be trying to make these supposedly positive posts. After all, last week against the dippers we didn't get 20 odd posts of positivity from you to offset the moaning you otherwise do, have we?
