I heard he was on 140k. 4x the amount Wilfried Zaha is.
Can't remember where though.

Over the same period Woolwich were spending 50m more on wages than us every year , I know it's not anything to do with this point but used to piss me off when scum would talk about money as if wages do not go into the equation. From 07/08 until 11/12 Woolwich had a positive net spend twice.
They were up £30M+
They finished 3rd x3 and 4th x2 CL five seasons. Didn’t win a trophy.
In the same period we spent £41m and top 4 twice ( one CL campaign) We won a league cup.
The year they bought Henry they made a net £7m profit.
They spent £13m net the next 2 seasons ( thats £6m total for the 3) and finished 2nd, 2nd and Champions
Meanwhile we spent £25m those 3 seasons finished 10th, 12th and 9th.
We spemt £20m 15/16 (minus £7m net) & 16/17 (plus £27m net) and finished 3rd and 2nd.
Man City spent positive £238m and finished lower. But they bought a league cup.
So negative spend does have fuck all to do with it,
Positive spend will come out on top, if like Utd and City, you can positive spend £150m + every season.
Bang on the money mate.Doesn't mean it goes into the squad though
Im not entirely sure John is wrong in this singular instance
John can consider himself owned. Very nice work. From 07/08 until 11/12 Woolwich had a positive net spend twice.

Is that right?
We tried that already. Before he was established.Next up I'd go for Rabiot. Top talent in an area we could do with it
Increased TV deal?If we are breaking even on transfers, but paying more in wages for incoming players, (which we are) then you’re wrong. That extra money has to come from elsewhere. It’s not hard.
Common sense not as common as it once was.If we are breaking even on transfers, but paying more in wages for incoming players, (which we are) then you’re wrong. That extra money has to come from elsewhere. It’s not hard.
Yeah, that’s my point. That’s why you can’t look at transfer net spend in isolation. Wages are being paid from other revenues.
Levy going on the game
Wages have a much more direct relationship to results than transfer fees.Over the same period Woolwich were spending 50m more on wages than us every year , I know it's not anything to do with this point but used to piss me off when scum would talk about money as if wages do not go into the equation.
Yea he's good if enigmatic. He'll be frustrating in parts and brilliant in parts. Hoping under Poch's guidance that consistency will come that Son is starting to get. In fact, a comparison to Sonny, in terms of being a frustrating gamechanger when he first came is apt.Is Moura any good then? From the comments I've seen dotted about different places there's more people saying they don't want him.
Taken me an hour. But I got there . RE.Theres a big clue in the word re investment. See if John can work it out
